Wed, 28 November 2007 Well! Where have I been for the last three months you might be wondering? As you'll find out in this show, I fill you in on where I've been, what I've been doing, and maybe even whom I've been doing ... But don't get too excited, it doesn't mean I've been hooking up with Republican Congressmen. But, I can admit that if I had to do something sexually explicit to Bush or Cheney to get them impeached ... I would have done it by now. On a more serious note, you'll find out that my free-lance is using new technology (the Microsoft Mobile SDK) and that has been a tremendous learning curve for me. Getting back into Microsoft technology galls me, but as far as mobile development goes, Java and he J2ME (java 2 Micro Edition) ain't there yet. Also, I do play World of Warcraft, and I found out some of the kids in the troop play ... and some of the adults, so I created new characters on that server and I've been trying to level my characters. Unfortunately, I put my podcasting on the back-burner. Rest assured, this was not LAST on my list. Actually cleaning my house and going to the gym, and watching my Netflix movies has actually been at the bottom of my list. So, I apologize for the long absence, and I will definitely try to be better in the future. This episode is brought to you by Esscents Candles! The opening intro was: Comments[0] |
Sun, 5 August 2007 Another month and another podcast, if only I weren't so busy, I could do more. But as usual the freelance work takes up almost ALL my time. I definitely did not pod-fade. So ... I am using new (actually old) podasting hardware. I am using an Alesis Equalizer with a omni-directional Cardioid microphone. I bought this equipment when I first started podcasting, and then never used it. So, it sat around for a bit, and now I am starting to use it with my Linux Laptop. If this podcast sounds like crap, please let me know, and I'll work on doing better with the next one. As usual, this show is brought to you by Esscents Candle. They sell the best Gel Candles, and I am usually burning one. In this podcast, there are two things i talk about: The second thing I talk about is politics ... I am so depressed. I listen to KarmaBanque Radio to Max and Stacy, and I always get so depressed. Then to top it off, I listen to Democracy Now with Amy Goodman, and that depresses me even more. In any event, the new opening song is called: Comments[0] |
Thu, 5 July 2007 I am such a busy slug! I recorded this show with my great friend Andy, the host of the following podcasts: Lazy Scranton and Bay State Radio and co-hosts Podcastique! It was actually recorded a week ago from this past Tuesday ... so basically a week before the 4th. Sooooooooo, my apologies go out to Andy for not getting this podcast out earlier ... I am a slug. On occasion I have recorded a show with Andy for Lazy Scranton, check out all the episodes of Lazy Scranton, and I am the temp in the special episodes. LOL ... you might hear him call me temp in this episode even though I am the host. That's just force of habit ... I think it's freakin' hysterical. So, in this episode, we talk about movies we've seen (from last week), his trip to Virginia for a friends wedding, my mouse problem, and a bunch of other stuff. I know Andy is dying for me to post this and any comments that might come in. If there is positive feed-back, he and I can do more shows together. And even if you don't like Andy ... I still might have him on on occasion. :-) Some of you might want to hear what's going on with me, and what I think of the political news ... those shows will be coming! Thanks for listening and being patient with me! As usual check out the wonderful gel candles from Esscents Candles Comments[0] |
Sun, 3 June 2007 ![]() Hello everyone, I know it's been awhile since I last posted, but you all know how busy I get with freelance and life, but things seem to be slowing down a bit now that it is summer. Usually, after a month of podcasting I am catching up on what's been going on with me, and not focusing too much on politics ... there has been sooooooooooooo much going on lately ... it's hard to know where to start. Anyway, this show is all about the politics! By the way ... I recorded this show two weeks ago and I am just posting it now. It's probably because I record it so late, and then I am just too tired to post it, and then the next day I get busy again. But in this episode, it' all old news ... even Falwell's death is now old news. Blessedly ... we will never hear any new hate from his fat gullet again. We may get the old recorded nuggets of his hate from the archives ... but he can't be hateful anymore. And as you'll find out in this show ... I am extremely grateful that he is dead ... but wish why God didn't take Pat Robertson, James Dobson, Tony Perkins, Fred Phelps, or Gary Bauer with him? In very old news ... I talk about Nancy Pelosi's trip to Syria and all the flack surrounding her, but no flack when the GOP goes to Syria. The firing of eight U.S. District Attorney's for political reasons and the testimony of Kyle Sampson, James Comey, Monica Goodling, etc. There is no longer any doubt that Gonzales is a liar and a syncophant! And there is so much more. I think we have to remember and we should remind others that the GOP is a bunch of lying, hypocritical, assholes! One they were in charge for 12 years, they made a number of comments about Bill Clinton. Now that the tables are turned with a Democratic Congress and Republicunt President ... the GOP is now singing a different tune that they did before. I am so fucking pissed off that the media never calls them on it. Thank God for Blogs, and Podcasts that pick these things out of the Archives and put them out there for people to see. Americans in general have the attention span of a gnat. They are too much looking at news about Paris Hilton, Spears, Lohan, Anna Nicole's baby, or some other po-culture rubbish to focus on what was said years ago by some politician ... but we remember!!!!!! My opening song is "Touch Of Pink" by Sub-Level-03. Comments[0] |
Mon, 16 April 2007 I wish I had recorded this show much earlier, but believe it or not, I recored this show almost a week ago. And true to form, here it is almost a week later, and I am just posting my podcast. My next podcast which I already recorded right after this one, is already to go ... just gotta post it and publish it. And the next podcast is all about politics. I know how much some of you like that and how some of you don't. But I haven't talked about politics an current events for awhile and now it's time to get back into the swing of things. So, what's been up with me???? Well, this show covers all that and rather than type it all out, I'll let you listen to the show. But I can tell you that it covers my work trip to Las Vegas, and my adventures there. Going to Connecticut to give a presentation of Podcasting at a Youth-based LGBT conference sponsored by True Colors. Getting sick with bronchitis and losing my voice. And lastly, my upcoming trip to Oqunquit, ME and my visit to Boston to hear Amy Goodman of Democracy Now speaking in Boston as part of her book tour. So, lets get back into it. Comments[0] |
Thu, 15 March 2007 There are some people who think that if you apologize for not podcasting on time, there is something wrong ... but I disagree. I do want to apologize for not putting out a podcast earlier or as often as I like. To apologize for one's failures is not bad, it's humbling. We are all human, and we have our failures. When I get to be perfect, then I will criticize other people. So, here is is Episode 90, 10 more episode to Episode 100. It's really just a number, and I don't plan on doing anything special. If I had been podast once or twice a week, I would have already passed this mark by now. Anyway, remember that this podcast is brought to you by Esscents Candles. This is a great candle store near me, and you can either visit their shop locally ... or order gel-candles from them on-line. As for this episode ... it's all about me. :-) I've been busy for the last six weeks, and guess with what? Yeah ... with freelance work as usual. Believe me, I haven't pod-faded. I have been thinking about podcasting every week. I even played around with Pod-Producer which is another free open-source piece of podcasting software. It's really in the early-phases of development, and it doesn't work well with my Plantronics headset. So, I downloaded a different version of Audacity, and that works as good as ever. So, as I said, this podcast is about me, all about me, and just what's been going on. I am so surprised that this podcast didn't go longer than it did ... but I guess I still lead a boring life. But, that's ok, me and the pets like that steady, predictable lifestly. I didn't even bother to talk about politics this time, but the next podcast I am doing ... and doing very soon ... will be all about politics. So, thanks to everyone for being so patient with me, and I promise I will do more podcasts sooner. Peace! Comments[1] |
Wed, 7 February 2007 ![]() Hey everyone, I am back from my the dead ... ok, maybe not dead, but just dead tired. I recorded this podcast last Sunday, and since then ... as in the past, I have been doing more and more freelance work. In the past, you know that I have been doing a lot of freelance work, but maybe you didn't know what I was doing. So, in this podcast I explain a little about the woman I am working for, and exactly what it is I do for her. It is extra cash, but at the cost of most of my free time. As usual, I catch you up on the other things going on in my life. Despite all the freelance work, I did manage to accomplish somethings around the house this past weekend. Who knew that I'd look more forward to cleaning my bathroom and kitchen MORE than working on my computer. Everything in moderation I guess. I can say the highlight since the last show was meeting two of my listeners Kathleen and Patty who live in Holbrook, MA. They own a candle store in Holbrook called Esscents Candles. So, I visited their store two weekends ago, and it is a great little store and it is filled with many gel candles. I myself picked up 2 smaller, and 1 larger candles ... and I must say I like the Musk one, and that is the one I am burning first. Every night when I get home and start the freelance work ... I light up the Musk candle and it sooooooooooo relaxes me. So, if you're in the area, please visit their store, and if you're not you can visit their web-site. Also, in this episode, I finally touch on a few political issues, but I didn't bother to provide any links this time. I mean, sometimes we are so over-whelmed with news ... that how can one NOT know what is going on. And because I was catching up on my life and the news of the world ... that I ran the show up to 45 minutes again. Anyway, I'm not done with podcasting, and I hope I can do more in the future ... even if I can do a show once a week. Check out the awesome candles at Esscents Candles.

Sun, 21 January 2007 So, this is my first podcast of the year, and I actually recorded it about a week ago. And I want to apologize for not getting this podcast out earlier! I really have no excuses, except for maybe the freelance work eating up all of my time. In this podcast, I wanted to wish everyone a very happy New Years ... I am sure it sounds lame now coming three weeks after the fact, but it still has to be said! Anyway, this new year has started off on a positive note for me. With my great review which I got before the new year, I got a great raise the first week in January. Then my 'ex' called me, and I was soooooooooo glad to hear from him. Although, it was just to tell me the car I gave him 3.5 years ago had finally died. Now, I am not taking pleasure in his mis-fortune, but I obviously still care about him. I was just glad to hear from him. So far, three weeks into the new year, most everything is going fine! This show just catches you up on what's been going on with me. It's been a few weeks since you heard from me, but I am not going anywhere. One of my new years resolution was to do more podcasts, and I am going to keep working on that. In this show, I also avoided politics ... and even then, the show is a little longer. So, I hope everything is fine with you guys this year, and I hope it is started off well. If it has, great! If it hasn't then, I certainly hope it will get better! Watch for my next podcast, when I will catch up on all the politics! Thanks so much for being patient and understanding with me! And thanks for listening! I will try to make it worth your while! Comments[2] |
Sun, 31 December 2006 This show brought to you, as usual, by Esscents Candles. Kathleen and Patty bring you only the best gel candles ever! First, I hope everyone had a very happy Merry Christmas, if that is what you celebrate. If you celebrate Hanukah, or the Solstice, or Festivus, then I hope you had a very happy holiday to celebrate with friends and family. Now, we are at New Year's Eve, and I again wish everyone a very safe, and happy partying time. I myself plan on going to RCC (Randolph Country Club) this evening because it's close, convenient, and cheap. In this episode, I start off with my old intro 'Touch Of Pink' by the group Sub-Level 03. God! I hope I can see them in concert someday!!!! I figured since Donny Rummy was gone, the whole torture-waterboardin' song isn't relevant oo much more. And Christmas a was one time event for Christmas music, so now I am on the hunt for a new intro song, along with relevant 'bumps.' Everyone in the world was doing a relevant 'Year in Review' podcast as far as the news goes ... but I wanted to do a year in review on things with my life since this is my podcast. But, I also brought you up to date on what's been going on with me. So, I hope you enjoy the show, and thankfully I got it back down to a reasonable length. I think more shows, with shorter times will be better than less shows that are longer. Let me know what you think, and in the end ... the World Spins forward for another year, the great work continues for another year .... Peace! Comments[0] |
Sun, 24 December 2006 ![]() Happy Holidays to everyone. As usual, this show has been a bit longer. I guess I just had a lot to say, and I added three full-length pod-safe songs into the mix for the holidays. This show and every show is brought to you by: So, as usual, I bring you up to date on the weather in New England, and how wonderfully nice it has been this Winter. Other than that, the freelance work is still keeping my busy, the day job has proven challenging for this project, and the dogs, cat, and birds are all fine. The roomie ... same as usual. As for the news, I talk about Bush and his decision to wait until after the holidays to talk about what he's going to do about Iraq. I think it is very clear ... he wants to 'stay the course' as usual, and send in more troops ... which means even more U.S. deaths. I think it is so "cavalier" and "gallant" that he wait until after the holidays. While him and the rest of the Administration sit around with their families for the holidays ... our U.S. troops are still in Iraq and are just targets for snipers or IED's. In this time of peace, joy, and happieness throughout the world ... I wish George Bush and the Administration a nice warm place in Hell when they die. The three songs I play are from are the Podsafe Music Network Comments[2] |
Sun, 17 December 2006 ![]() As usual, I want to apologize once again for taking sooooo long to get another show out to you. Between getting ready for the cape, being in Ptown, freelance work, and Christmas shopping, I have been extremely busy as usual. I recorded this last show on Friday, on my lunch break, because as you know, this current job allows me to work from home on Friday. At the same time I was recording this podcast, some TV networks were showing the big goodbye party for Donald Rumsfeld where Bush and Cheney were heaping praise up Rummy - the Dummy! It made me completely sick to watch it. I know for certain now that they will all burn in the HOTTEST parts of Hell for their crimes against humanity!!! But I will get to that later ... So, I went down to Ptown a week ago, and I tell you all about it. How cold it was that last Friday, and how dead Ptown was in the winter. I definitely think it was a mistake to go for that weekend, I was so bored down there, and I should have just stayed home and relaxed here. But oh well, Life goes on ... I did want to get away, but damn, I certainly wish there had been more people down there. Ptown won't come alive again until at least New Years, and for this New Years, I don't think I will be going down there. For one, they are charging $300 for the weekend, and I don't think it'll be worth going. I'd rather save that money and stay local ... maybe RCC (Randolph Country Club), or someplace in Boston, or Providence, RI. Ah, sooooooo, what else has been going on with me? Well, the day job is going fine. I started a new project, and that has definitely had some challenges to it. At home, the dogs, cat, and birds are all doing well. I can't wait for the Spring when I can move the birds back outside again. That way I can give my basement a proper cleaning. The freelance work is keeping me busy, and now this woman is paying me again. No more toys for now, and the extra money is always handy ... plus sometimes it can be fun to do some extra work. Haven't been to the gym in a long time now, and still paying for it. I think one of my New Years resolutions will be to get back to the gym. Time to make time for that again. As you know, every episode I always make time for the news of the day, and here is what I talked about this time: Check out the awesome candles at Esscents.

Wed, 6 December 2006 ![]() Hey kids, it's time for another fun-filled episode of Deep Fabulousity. It's been a busy week as usual. Cleaning the house with four dogs, a cat, birds, and a roomie is tough work. Add on the additional freelance work, and I make for one dull man. So, at least this weekend I get to play down in Provincetown, MA (Ptown). But, since it is off season, I don't know how much playing I will actually be doing ... but I still need to get away from it all. Since it is the Holiday Season, I've been picking up my house a bit more when I have the time. In years past, I always got a real tree. Then when I got my first apartment, I used a fake tree. When I met my last boyfriend Doug, it was real trees from then on. It was a wonderful experience to decorate the tree with him ... until I realized he moved all the ornaments around. From that day on, the six Christmases we had together ... I just let him pick the tree and decorate it himself. Unfortunately, yes, he was that anal about it. So anal in fact ... that he some years he would decorate the tree ... undecorate it, and then do it all over again. And with the dogs, I always had the bother of the dogs peeing on my Christmas Tree. This year, I said 'SCREW IT!' and got a fake tree. It's a 4-foot high fiber-optic tree that changes colors on it's own. I know some of you 'queens' might think that is cheesy, and quite frankly ... I don't care. It's convenient! A few more cheesy Christmas decorations, and I'll have a delightfully tacky Christmas.
I also managed to get some Christmas Shopping done, and I am half-way done with shopping. I only have a few more things to get, but now I have to wait until my next check on December 15th. Then I can finish my shopping and start to wrap those gifts. And in the news:
