Thu, 28 September 2006 ![]() I know, I know, it's a miracle I am posting another podcast within the same week. I guess it's just because there is so much going on, and I mean, to me, it's big news. First of all, an intelligence report comes out that shows that Iraq and 9/11 had nothing to do with each other. Rumsfeld claims he hadn't read it yet, Rumsfeld claims he hadn't read it yet, so they use that excuse to avoid answering questions that they lied to get us into an unjust and immoral war. Second, Bill Clinton lays the smack-down on Chris Wallace. It was a conservative "hit-job" on Bill Clinton. I am sure Fox News meant to embaress Clinton and make him look like a fool. But, if any of you saw the interview, you know that Bill got a little upset and put Chris Wallace in his place. Bill was articulate and spelled it out ... a great backfire to Fox News Sunday ... here it is kids ... the TRUTH coming out and without any interruption from a loudmouth hack like O'Reilly or Hannity. Chris Wallace sat there and took it, and didn't say anything. I find it interesting now that Fox News realized what a mistake this was. All over the Internet, Fox is desperately trying to remove this interview before too many people see it. It definitely is a wake-up call when Bill Clinton says why don't you [and the other media] ask Bush why he didn't try to get Osama in the first eight months in office. Now you have the National Intelligence Estimate (NIE) leaked by the NY Times that clearly says, in not so many words, that our war in Iraq has only made the world more dangerous, and that we are less safe now than ever before. Of course, the Administration is going to lie and say we are safer ... but reasonable know the opposite is true. This Administration put the world in danger, and they get to leave office with their war profits and leave the next Administration to clean-up their mess. Just like Bill Clinton had to clean-up the mess of 12 years of Republican Presidential Idiocy!!!!! Some of this NIE has been de-classified and is available for public viewing. Some politicians have asked that this NIE be completed and released to the public ASAFP! But it looks like John Negroponte won't release this document until January ... well after the November mid-term elctions ... well .... how convenient!!! The month of September has flown-by! This whole year has flown by and 2008 can't get hear quick enough. I cannot wait, and I think much of the country can't wait until election time. I'm gonna be one of the first ones in line and my voting precinct. If the democrats don't win the House and Senate back ... I think you'll see some real problems start to go exponentially. Anyway, here are some links:

Mon, 25 September 2006 This is my weekly podcast, and I am really hoping I will have more time to podcast this week, because I have a lot more to say about what's going on. I can tell you last week, was incredibly busy, and I had a lot of freelance work going on and it ate up a lot of more time. Also, I want to give my deepest regards and condolences to Jennifer Snoddy from that The Girl On Tech podcast. Please go to her site and give your regards, thoughts, and condolences to the Snoddy family over the loss of their young daughter Keera who passed away this past weekend. In this podcast, I bring you up to date on what's going on with me, but not in any great detail. That's boring and I don't think anyone wants the intricate detals of my life. But, like I said before, there was a lot of freelance work that took up a lot of my time, and it wasn't until Thursday night that I really felt like I had some free-time. I could have done a podcast earlier in the week, but I thought giving my dogs some attention and playing World of Warcraft was more appealing and relaxing ... especially playing with the dogs. In the news, I usually have links to send you to. But, in this case I just figured I talk about some things that have been going on in the news. So, I am not trying to prove anything ... just giving my opinion. After all, this podcast is just like an audio blog. So, I talk about the following:

Mon, 18 September 2006 ![]() As usual, I have been a busy bitch. I, at one time, had some free time because I didn't have any freelance work to do. So, I was using that time to podcast, clean my house, work outside my house, and play World of Warcraft. But now, the freelance work is kicking my ass and eating all my time. I also haven't had time to work on my new web-site. I also haven't had any time to work on that rebuttal to my friends email. But I did have a chance to help my parents with their wireless, my friends wireless. I also helped out my roomies uncle (and his partner) with their computer this weekend. I also had a great chat with Zillafag from the ZillaFag podcast. Lastly, this is the third part of three of my Democracy Now series. Amy Goodman of DemocracyNow.org was on a book tour with Dr. Robert Jay Lifton. At the end of both their speeches, they had a Question and Answer session, and this is what I recorded. I apologize for the quality. By this time, my batteries were going and so I had to plug in my Marantz recorder. The microphone was near the speaker, and so the quality may not be that great.

Wed, 13 September 2006 ![]() This is the second of three parts of Democracy Now book tour. After Amy Goodman gave her speech, Dr. Robert Jay Lifton, who recently co-wrote a new book called "Crimes of War: Iraq" gave his compelling speech. His speech was a little shorter than Amy's, but still good nonetheless. Please enjoy this speech from Dr. Lifton, and I hope you get to hear Amy and Dr. Lifton personally someday. In other news with me, as you know I am working on my site ... again, and here is the link this time to the new site. Please give me your constructive criticism on what you think. Personally, I like the idea of having three columns instead of two. I certainly have the real estate (sceen real estate for you non-geeks) for it. I am also still working on the retort to the email I got from my friend Bobby. I'll get it finished some day, but I have to start the process first. And lastly, September 11th ... I basically share with you what happened with me on that day and how I left work, got my mom who was working up the street from me, and we both went home that day. Sun, 10 September 2006 ![]() On Labor Day Weekend, September 1st, 2006 I was fortunate to see Amy Goodman from DemocracyNow.org speak on her book tour with Dr. Robert Jay Lifton. I was notified of this event by my good friend David Byrd who does That Blue Jeans Guy podcast. Armed with my brand-spanking-new Marantz Digital Recorder, I record the entire event. Yeah, the quality may not be that great, you can probably hear me breathing in the background. Also, the Marantz record things in 5 minute segments, so I had to copy the multiple mp3 files into one longer mp3 file. This first 35 minutes is the start of the event and the start of Amy Goodman speaking, actually here entire speech. There will be 2 other parts: If you check out my Flickr site, you will see many of the photos of Ptown that weekend and of this event. Also remember that tonight is the eve of Sept. 11th. The current administration used this day as an excuse to not only invade Afghanistan, but also to go after Iraq which had nothing to do with this dreadful, horrible, tragedy. Never misunderstand, our administration had ulterior motives for going into Iraq. Terrorism was just a convenient excuse to do so. For the past five (5) years, this administration has infered and suggested that Iraq was somehow tied to 9/11 and there is still 43% of the country that still believe it!!!! The lower the education level, the more likely they are to believe it. AND NOW ... ABC wants to put on TV this fake-umentary which tries to put all the blame of 9/11 squarely on the shoulders of the Clinton Administration ... a complete sham and a complete lie!!!! Talk about "revisionist historians." There's more I could say on this, but it will wait until the next time. Peace! Comments[0] |
Thu, 7 September 2006 ![]() Hello everyone, I hope everyone had a great Labor Day Weekend, and I am sure we're all (or most of us) are back at work now. The weather in Provincetown, MA (Ptown) was kinda lousy all weekend ... except for Monday morning which is when I left Ptown. Anyway, I had a great time in Ptown, and this podcast talks all about it. As many of you know, I listen to DemocracyNow.org podcast with Amy Goodman and Juan Gonzalez, and I can't promote them enough. It is by the far the height of news. It is by far, NOT the opposite of Fox News. Since Faux News has a conservative GOP bias to it, that would imply that DemocracyNow.org is liberally biased, and I don't think they are. I consider DemocracyNow.org, to be center, to tell the TRUTH, no matter which side it favors or hurts. I think and feel that they are being intellectually honest. And in this podcast, I really want to be the same way ... I know I am liberal, and a democrat, but I want to be intellectually honest .... even when I have to swallow some points from the other side. Anyway .... Amy Goodman and her brother David wrote a new book called 'Static' and Amy was on a book tour with Dr. Robert Jay Lifton who has also written a new book called "Crimes of War, Iraq." Without David Byrd, of that Blue Jeans Guy podcast, he pointed out to me that Amy's book tour was going to be in Ptown on Friday, September 1st, at the Provincetown High School. So, I want to give David Byrd from That Blue Jeans Guy podcast a big hug and say thank you sooooooooooooooo much, for bringing this to my attention.
So ... I went into the details of my weekend as I said. The great highlights were:
I record the speech from Amy Goodman and Dr. Lifton. It is about 90 minutes long ... so I am going to break it down into three parts each about 30 minutes long: I didn't focus so much on news this week, but there has been an overwhelming trend to call anyone who disagrees with this administration as Nazi (or Terrorist) appeasers. This administration must be getting desperate to get voters to keep in power a "rubber-staming" Neo-Conservative Republicunt Congress. They must know that the end to their reign of terror is about to be over in just 60 days from today ... September 7th, 2006.
