Thank God Christmas is over. I can't wait until New years is done so I can get back to my normal everyday life. But New Years will be fun in Provincetown, MA where I am going this weekend. Anyway, do you think 2.5 years is enough waiting for an "ex" to come back? I do, time to move on, time to pack up the shit he left behind and send it to him. Time to put the past behind me and go back to the time before I met the "ex" ... sometimes in order to go forward we must go back.

As I think about the Holidays, I remembered that you should NEVER give a pet as a gift for a shitload of reasons: allergies, responsibility, financial obligations, time, don't know about the breed, etc. However, if you're a family and the parents do want to get a pet ... wait until AFTER the holidays. Many pets given as gifts will end up in animal shelters because people aren't prepared to take care of a pet. So, if you do want a pet, go to an animal shelter after the holidays and recscue a pet or two. I thought the Patriot Act was dead, but it looks like it got extended "as is" for another 6 months. And it looks like the U.S. Goverment is spying on it's own citizens and marking leftie groups as terrorist organizations ... but right-wing organizations seem to NOT make the list. Isn't that fucking funny .... NOT! My new job, my first project, and the commute to work. George "shit-head" Bush calls our Constitution just "a piece of paper" ... I just hope the assholes who put him in office suffer under his administration suffer the most because we all know how compassionate the GOP and the Neo-cons are.

In this episode, I tell you about my new job and the major snowstorm we had last Friday. It was the first major snowstorm this Winter, and it's not even officially Winter yet. I also discuss privacy ... and the fact that none of us have any real privacy. From camera phones to video cameras to store discount cards ... everything we do is being tracked by someone. It's now being attempted in schools ... a very controversial area.

Hey folks, sorry for the long delay ... been busy as usual. Got a new job now, and I start Wednesday, Dec. 7th which is Pearl Harbor Day. I also talk about a couple of issues with the catholic chuch in the states trying to avoid paying settlements to abuse victims. Other than that, only 3 weeks more shopping days to Christmas. December 1, 2005 World Aids Day, we remember those who have passed away. We remember those who are infected, but still with us. We use this day to re-group and re-organize our efforts to educate. We learn from the lessons past and continue to make sure new infections are less and less every year. On a lighter note, I may have a new job very soon, and it'll be nice to have a paycheck again.

Sorry for the late podcast ... been a busy bitch, but I'm back in the saddle so to speak. So, I basically rant about MBTA (train) Blues, Interview Blues, Death Penalty, the holidays, etc. etc. Tried something different this time ...
