I completely forgot that I recorded a show in January. I thought I had published this show, but Audacity had crashed and the show did not rcover properly. So, I recorded this new show, and it saved correctly this time. Since, I have been unemployed for the last three months, I figured I would wait until I got a job. Unfortunately, I am still looking for a job.

As usual, this show is brought to you by Esscents Candles. It's the Spring Holiday Season, so please get those awesome Gel Candles for holiday gifts.

In this show, I catch you up on my job search, some politics, my dogs, cat, and birds are ok. My roomie is ok, though he annoys me often. And the new boyfriend is awesome, and we get along so well, and have so much in common. This coming Sunday, March 29th, is his birthday.

I didn't pod-fade even if you thought I wasn't podcasting any more, yes, I am still podcasting. As usual, life gets in the way as it usually does, unfortunately, as always, it turns the podcast is what suffers.

As usual, I catch you up on what has been going on in my life and what has been happening with me. So much has happened in my life, and with the world, from the beginning of October to the end of December. Amazingly a lot has happened to me, and so much more in the world. For this podcast, I'll catch you up with me, and then the next one we'll deal with politics and the world.

In short, there are the many trips to Ptown, often times with my new boyfriend Kevin. News about my job, and the fact that I got laid-off mid-December. And nes about my roomie Andrew, who now has a contract job for the next six months. That and much, much more.

Check out the awesome candles at Esscents.

So, it has over six months since I last posted a show.  So, how long is it before a show is officially dead?   3 months?  6 months?  etc.  Well, I know lots of shows that gone away for awhile, and taken a hiatus.   But, I want you to know, that in all these months I kept thinking about podcasting.  How much I like it, how much I miss it.

As usual, this show is brought to you by Esscents Candles. It's the Spring Holiday Season, so please get those awesome Gel Candles for holiday gifts.

Ok, so it has been awhile since I last podcast. In this episode, I basically tell you about me since the last time I did a show. Also, this is episode 99, that means the next show is 100. Technically, if you count all the other shows I did, I am already over 100 shows. Listen, I would love to do a show every week, or even a few times a week, but I have lots of stuff to do, so I will do what I can.

My next show is all about politics ... and boy do I have some things to say. It's a good thing I have a podcast to voice them. ;-)

As usual, I record this podcast last Sunday, and here I am just publishing to my blog/podcast site. As I write this I am down in Ptown for the first time this year. It's under new management, but not the management I thought it would be. Anyway, I figured it was time I publish this file.

As usual, this show is brought to you by Esscents Candles. It's the Spring Holiday Season, so please get those awesome Gel Candles for holiday gifts.

In this podcast, I talk about the first week in March where I attended the "DrupalCon Boston 2008" conference. It was in my own backyard so to speak. I got up early each day, took our train system we call the MBTA and got myself to the convention center for that week. I also explain what Drupal is in case you don't know.

Finally, I get good and angry about politics and money. I talk about John McCain and how he is the last Republicunt candidate. It was the last choice of the GOP, and now they have to back-peddle and support this senile old coot. Oh if Mitt Romney wasn't a mormon, I can only speculate that the GOP would have supported him.

The last straw for me has to be the financial crisis. Yes Virginia ... we are in a deep recession and a lot of Americans are gonna get FUCKED!!! As usual, those in middle-America who will be hurt the most are those who supported this administration the most. As usual, they voted against their own best economic interests. By voting for Bush, they hurt themselves, the rest of the country, and the world. Quite honestly, financial ruin isn't the worst punishment for you ... but you got what you deserved!!!

Thankfully, I got my new Prius ... gas may be expensive, but hopefully it won't hurt as much. Although, I still have home heating fuel, and that is even more expensive, but Spring is here, and that shouldn't be too much of an issue. And if you're wondering why gas is so high ... OPEC has it right, and the White House will deny it ... but yes, the dollar is in the crapper and almost not worth anything anymore.

Anyway, list for more, and you can here more of my rant!

Yes. I am finally back from the dead, alive, and well, and on the air again. I was so hoping to start podcasting once a week after New Years, but I got deathly ill. Ok, so that is an exaggeration, actually, I just had a really bad flu for the first three weeks in January ... it just felt like death. I also got laryngitis and I couldn't talk for two weeks after that. The whole time I was sick I just couldn't breath, and I had no energy.

As usual, this show is brought to you by Esscents Candles. It's the Holiday Season, so please get those awesome Gel Candles for holiday gifts.

Anyway, I felt better in February, and wouldn't you know ... the freelance work picked up. So, I had all this free time in January, but couldn't talk. And then then, in February I felt better, but no free time ... sometimes I wish life wouldn't be so busy. Along with that is learning the Drupal CMS package, and just taking care of the household.

So, the family is fine, and all the pets are fine. They are all so awesome. The roomie is fine also, but he did lose his temp-to-perm job again. This was a layoff and not his fault. He got laid-off with a bunch of other people.

So a couple of other great things happened:
I got a brand new car ... a 2008 Toyota Prius
I got a visit from Andy and Nick from the Podcstique2 podcast. And, I got a new 22" LCD monitor for my home office.

I didn't discuss politics this time, but stay tuned for the next episode and we'll cover the last 2 months of politics. Doesn't that sound like a fun evening?

Yes, Ladies and Gentlemen, I recorded a second post this month. I actually recorded this LAST Sunday, and i thought I had uploaded the file. Then several time this week, I went to publish this Podcast and found that the show wasn't even uploaded. That sucked! So, something must be up with LibSyn, and it took me a dozen times to finally get this file uploaded. So, if there is something wrong with the podcast, please let me know, and I will try to fix the file. LibSyn has already been notified of the issue.

As usual, this show is brought to you by Esscents Candles. It's the Holiday Season, so please get those awesome Gel Candles for holiday gifts.

So, in this podcast I catch you up on what has been going on with me between work, my day job, and the freelance, work. Honestly, since this was recorded a week ago, I can't even remember what I talked about. This has been a very busy week, and I was thinking of recording a new podcast tonight ... and see if I have any luck posting that one.

In this episode, I also covered some news items:
Dodd To Filibuster FISA Bill, Needs Material To Read on Senate
Huckabee Squashed Charges Against His Son For Stoning, Hanging Dog
Congress sends war funding bill to Bush Tim Russert of 'Meet The Press' breaks out the flip-flops on Romney and also grills Guiliani

I did have links to these news items, but my Open Office document messed up. I'll guess I'll have to stick to text from now on, or make a few mor backups. Anyway, you can find most of these items from Crooks & Liars, and ThinkProgress.net.

The opening song is: It's Christmas Time by Sudden Death
and you can find them on Podshow Music Network

Well! Where have I been for the last three months you might be wondering?

As you'll find out in this show, I fill you in on where I've been, what I've been doing, and maybe even whom I've been doing ... But don't get too excited, it doesn't mean I've been hooking up with Republican Congressmen. But, I can admit that if I had to do something sexually explicit to Bush or Cheney to get them impeached ... I would have done it by now.

On a more serious note, you'll find out that my free-lance is using new technology (the Microsoft Mobile SDK) and that has been a tremendous learning curve for me. Getting back into Microsoft technology galls me, but as far as mobile development goes, Java and he J2ME (java 2 Micro Edition) ain't there yet. Also, I do play World of Warcraft, and I found out some of the kids in the troop play ... and some of the adults, so I created new characters on that server and I've been trying to level my characters. Unfortunately, I put my podcasting on the back-burner. Rest assured, this was not LAST on my list. Actually cleaning my house and going to the gym, and watching my Netflix movies has actually been at the bottom of my list.

So, I apologize for the long absence, and I will definitely try to be better in the future. This episode is brought to you by Esscents Candles!

The opening intro was:
"Podcasting is the new Revolution" by Pacific Coast Hellway
and can be found on the Podshow Music Network

Another month and another podcast, if only I weren't so busy, I could do more. But as usual the freelance work takes up almost ALL my time. I definitely did not pod-fade.

So ... I am using new (actually old) podasting hardware. I am using an Alesis Equalizer with a omni-directional Cardioid microphone. I bought this equipment when I first started podcasting, and then never used it. So, it sat around for a bit, and now I am starting to use it with my Linux Laptop.

If this podcast sounds like crap, please let me know, and I'll work on doing better with the next one.

As usual, this show is brought to you by Esscents Candle. They sell the best Gel Candles, and I am usually burning one.

In this podcast, there are two things i talk about:
First, I catch you up on what I've been doing. Attending a speech by Amy Goodman in Boston, Scuba Diving with the scouts, broken laptop, new laptop, Vista, mice, rats, bottles water, movies. All the crap that's been going on since this long hot summer started.

The second thing I talk about is politics ... I am so depressed. I listen to KarmaBanque Radio to Max and Stacy, and I always get so depressed. Then to top it off, I listen to Democracy Now with Amy Goodman, and that depresses me even more.

In any event, the new opening song is called:
"Podcasting is the Revolution" by Pacific Coast Highway.
which I downloaded from the Podshow Music Network

I am such a busy slug! I recorded this show with my great friend Andy, the host of the following podcasts: Lazy Scranton and Bay State Radio and co-hosts Podcastique! It was actually recorded a week ago from this past Tuesday ... so basically a week before the 4th. Sooooooooo, my apologies go out to Andy for not getting this podcast out earlier ... I am a slug.

On occasion I have recorded a show with Andy for Lazy Scranton, check out all the episodes of Lazy Scranton, and I am the temp in the special episodes. LOL ... you might hear him call me temp in this episode even though I am the host. That's just force of habit ... I think it's freakin' hysterical.

So, in this episode, we talk about movies we've seen (from last week), his trip to Virginia for a friends wedding, my mouse problem, and a bunch of other stuff. I know Andy is dying for me to post this and any comments that might come in. If there is positive feed-back, he and I can do more shows together. And even if you don't like Andy ... I still might have him on on occasion. :-)

Some of you might want to hear what's going on with me, and what I think of the political news ... those shows will be coming!

Thanks for listening and being patient with me!

As usual check out the wonderful gel candles from Esscents Candles

Hello everyone,

I know it's been awhile since I last posted, but you all know how busy I get with freelance and life, but things seem to be slowing down a bit now that it is summer. Usually, after a month of podcasting I am catching up on what's been going on with me, and not focusing too much on politics ... there has been sooooooooooooo much going on lately ... it's hard to know where to start. Anyway, this show is all about the politics!

By the way ... I recorded this show two weeks ago and I am just posting it now. It's probably because I record it so late, and then I am just too tired to post it, and then the next day I get busy again. But in this episode, it' all old news ... even Falwell's death is now old news. Blessedly ... we will never hear any new hate from his fat gullet again. We may get the old recorded nuggets of his hate from the archives ... but he can't be hateful anymore. And as you'll find out in this show ... I am extremely grateful that he is dead ... but wish why God didn't take Pat Robertson, James Dobson, Tony Perkins, Fred Phelps, or Gary Bauer with him?

In very old news ... I talk about Nancy Pelosi's trip to Syria and all the flack surrounding her, but no flack when the GOP goes to Syria.

The firing of eight U.S. District Attorney's for political reasons and the testimony of Kyle Sampson, James Comey, Monica Goodling, etc. There is no longer any doubt that Gonzales is a liar and a syncophant!

And there is so much more. I think we have to remember and we should remind others that the GOP is a bunch of lying, hypocritical, assholes! One they were in charge for 12 years, they made a number of comments about Bill Clinton. Now that the tables are turned with a Democratic Congress and Republicunt President ... the GOP is now singing a different tune that they did before. I am so fucking pissed off that the media never calls them on it.

Thank God for Blogs, and Podcasts that pick these things out of the Archives and put them out there for people to see. Americans in general have the attention span of a gnat. They are too much looking at news about Paris Hilton, Spears, Lohan, Anna Nicole's baby, or some other po-culture rubbish to focus on what was said years ago by some politician ... but we remember!!!!!!

My opening song is "Touch Of Pink" by Sub-Level-03.
And the closing is "Tired of being lied to" by David Ippolitto
Both of these pod-safe songs can be found at Podsafe Music Network

I wish I had recorded this show much earlier, but believe it or not, I recored this show almost a week ago. And true to form, here it is almost a week later, and I am just posting my podcast.

My next podcast which I already recorded right after this one, is already to go ... just gotta post it and publish it. And the next podcast is all about politics. I know how much some of you like that and how some of you don't. But I haven't talked about politics an current events for awhile and now it's time to get back into the swing of things.

So, what's been up with me???? Well, this show covers all that and rather than type it all out, I'll let you listen to the show.

But I can tell you that it covers my work trip to Las Vegas, and my adventures there. Going to Connecticut to give a presentation of Podcasting at a Youth-based LGBT conference sponsored by True Colors. Getting sick with bronchitis and losing my voice. And lastly, my upcoming trip to Oqunquit, ME and my visit to Boston to hear Amy Goodman of Democracy Now speaking in Boston as part of her book tour.

So, lets get back into it.

There are some people who think that if you apologize for not podcasting on time, there is something wrong ... but I disagree. I do want to apologize for not putting out a podcast earlier or as often as I like. To apologize for one's failures is not bad, it's humbling. We are all human, and we have our failures. When I get to be perfect, then I will criticize other people.

So, here is is Episode 90, 10 more episode to Episode 100. It's really just a number, and I don't plan on doing anything special. If I had been podast once or twice a week, I would have already passed this mark by now.

Anyway, remember that this podcast is brought to you by Esscents Candles. This is a great candle store near me, and you can either visit their shop locally ... or order gel-candles from them on-line.

As for this episode ... it's all about me. :-) I've been busy for the last six weeks, and guess with what? Yeah ... with freelance work as usual. Believe me, I haven't pod-faded. I have been thinking about podcasting every week. I even played around with Pod-Producer which is another free open-source piece of podcasting software. It's really in the early-phases of development, and it doesn't work well with my Plantronics headset. So, I downloaded a different version of Audacity, and that works as good as ever.

So, as I said, this podcast is about me, all about me, and just what's been going on. I am so surprised that this podcast didn't go longer than it did ... but I guess I still lead a boring life. But, that's ok, me and the pets like that steady, predictable lifestly. I didn't even bother to talk about politics this time, but the next podcast I am doing ... and doing very soon ... will be all about politics.

So, thanks to everyone for being so patient with me, and I promise I will do more podcasts sooner.

Peace!

Hey everyone, I am back from my the dead ... ok, maybe not dead, but just dead tired. I recorded this podcast last Sunday, and since then ... as in the past, I have been doing more and more freelance work.

In the past, you know that I have been doing a lot of freelance work, but maybe you didn't know what I was doing. So, in this podcast I explain a little about the woman I am working for, and exactly what it is I do for her. It is extra cash, but at the cost of most of my free time.

As usual, I catch you up on the other things going on in my life. Despite all the freelance work, I did manage to accomplish somethings around the house this past weekend. Who knew that I'd look more forward to cleaning my bathroom and kitchen MORE than working on my computer. Everything in moderation I guess.

I can say the highlight since the last show was meeting two of my listeners Kathleen and Patty who live in Holbrook, MA. They own a candle store in Holbrook called Esscents Candles. So, I visited their store two weekends ago, and it is a great little store and it is filled with many gel candles. I myself picked up 2 smaller, and 1 larger candles ... and I must say I like the Musk one, and that is the one I am burning first. Every night when I get home and start the freelance work ... I light up the Musk candle and it sooooooooooo relaxes me. So, if you're in the area, please visit their store, and if you're not you can visit their web-site.

Also, in this episode, I finally touch on a few political issues, but I didn't bother to provide any links this time. I mean, sometimes we are so over-whelmed with news ... that how can one NOT know what is going on. And because I was catching up on my life and the news of the world ... that I ran the show up to 45 minutes again.

Anyway, I'm not done with podcasting, and I hope I can do more in the future ... even if I can do a show once a week.

Check out the awesome candles at Esscents Candles.

So, this is my first podcast of the year, and I actually recorded it about a week ago. And I want to apologize for not getting this podcast out earlier! I really have no excuses, except for maybe the freelance work eating up all of my time.

In this podcast, I wanted to wish everyone a very happy New Years ... I am sure it sounds lame now coming three weeks after the fact, but it still has to be said!

Anyway, this new year has started off on a positive note for me. With my great review which I got before the new year, I got a great raise the first week in January. Then my 'ex' called me, and I was soooooooooo glad to hear from him. Although, it was just to tell me the car I gave him 3.5 years ago had finally died. Now, I am not taking pleasure in his mis-fortune, but I obviously still care about him. I was just glad to hear from him. So far, three weeks into the new year, most everything is going fine!

This show just catches you up on what's been going on with me. It's been a few weeks since you heard from me, but I am not going anywhere. One of my new years resolution was to do more podcasts, and I am going to keep working on that. In this show, I also avoided politics ... and even then, the show is a little longer.

So, I hope everything is fine with you guys this year, and I hope it is started off well. If it has, great! If it hasn't then, I certainly hope it will get better!

Watch for my next podcast, when I will catch up on all the politics! Thanks so much for being patient and understanding with me! And thanks for listening! I will try to make it worth your while!

This show brought to you, as usual, by Esscents Candles. Kathleen and Patty bring you only the best gel candles ever!

First, I hope everyone had a very happy Merry Christmas, if that is what you celebrate. If you celebrate Hanukah, or the Solstice, or Festivus, then I hope you had a very happy holiday to celebrate with friends and family.

Now, we are at New Year's Eve, and I again wish everyone a very safe, and happy partying time. I myself plan on going to RCC (Randolph Country Club) this evening because it's close, convenient, and cheap.

In this episode, I start off with my old intro 'Touch Of Pink' by the group Sub-Level 03. God! I hope I can see them in concert someday!!!! I figured since Donny Rummy was gone, the whole torture-waterboardin' song isn't relevant oo much more. And Christmas a was one time event for Christmas music, so now I am on the hunt for a new intro song, along with relevant 'bumps.'

Everyone in the world was doing a relevant 'Year in Review' podcast as far as the news goes ... but I wanted to do a year in review on things with my life since this is my podcast. But, I also brought you up to date on what's been going on with me.

So, I hope you enjoy the show, and thankfully I got it back down to a reasonable length. I think more shows, with shorter times will be better than less shows that are longer. Let me know what you think, and in the end ... the World Spins forward for another year, the great work continues for another year .... Peace!

Happy Holidays to everyone. As usual, this show has been a bit longer. I guess I just had a lot to say, and I added three full-length pod-safe songs into the mix for the holidays.

This show and every show is brought to you by:
Esscents Candles owned by two fabulous listeners of the show and neighbors from the next town over. Check out their site and their great candles. I will be getting some of their great candles myself.

So, as usual, I bring you up to date on the weather in New England, and how wonderfully nice it has been this Winter. Other than that, the freelance work is still keeping my busy, the day job has proven challenging for this project, and the dogs, cat, and birds are all fine. The roomie ... same as usual.

As for the news, I talk about Bush and his decision to wait until after the holidays to talk about what he's going to do about Iraq. I think it is very clear ... he wants to 'stay the course' as usual, and send in more troops ... which means even more U.S. deaths. I think it is so "cavalier" and "gallant" that he wait until after the holidays. While him and the rest of the Administration sit around with their families for the holidays ... our U.S. troops are still in Iraq and are just targets for snipers or IED's. In this time of peace, joy, and happieness throughout the world ... I wish George Bush and the Administration a nice warm place in Hell when they die.

The three songs I play are from are the Podsafe Music Network
Intro: The Christmas Season by Sudden Death
Break: Christmas In The Sun by Joel Kopischke
Outro: Best Part Of Christmas by American Angel

As usual, I want to apologize once again for taking sooooo long to get another show out to you. Between getting ready for the cape, being in Ptown, freelance work, and Christmas shopping, I have been extremely busy as usual.

I recorded this last show on Friday, on my lunch break, because as you know, this current job allows me to work from home on Friday. At the same time I was recording this podcast, some TV networks were showing the big goodbye party for Donald Rumsfeld where Bush and Cheney were heaping praise up Rummy - the Dummy! It made me completely sick to watch it. I know for certain now that they will all burn in the HOTTEST parts of Hell for their crimes against humanity!!! But I will get to that later ...

So, I went down to Ptown a week ago, and I tell you all about it. How cold it was that last Friday, and how dead Ptown was in the winter. I definitely think it was a mistake to go for that weekend, I was so bored down there, and I should have just stayed home and relaxed here. But oh well, Life goes on ... I did want to get away, but damn, I certainly wish there had been more people down there. Ptown won't come alive again until at least New Years, and for this New Years, I don't think I will be going down there. For one, they are charging $300 for the weekend, and I don't think it'll be worth going. I'd rather save that money and stay local ... maybe RCC (Randolph Country Club), or someplace in Boston, or Providence, RI.

Ah, sooooooo, what else has been going on with me? Well, the day job is going fine. I started a new project, and that has definitely had some challenges to it. At home, the dogs, cat, and birds are all doing well. I can't wait for the Spring when I can move the birds back outside again. That way I can give my basement a proper cleaning. The freelance work is keeping me busy, and now this woman is paying me again. No more toys for now, and the extra money is always handy ... plus sometimes it can be fun to do some extra work. Haven't been to the gym in a long time now, and still paying for it. I think one of my New Years resolutions will be to get back to the gym. Time to make time for that again.

As you know, every episode I always make time for the news of the day, and here is what I talked about this time:
1) If you voted for Bush, you're a psycho

2) I talked alot about Donald Rumsfeld, and how Bush waited to swear in Gates to make Rumsfeld the longest running Secretary of Defense ever. I also have to ask ... why would Bob Gates want this job? Bush is the 'decider' and he's going to decide how this war is waged based on political reasons. Bob Gates won't have much to say if his viewpoint is different that Bush's. If the war in Iraq continues to go bad (as it is and will continue to be), doesn't Bob Gates realize he'll just be as much to blame. It's not a job I would want.

3) Finally, I have a lot to say about the outgoing (or now gone) 109th Congress. As Jon Stewart said, let's hope they just go away ... and I would add to that, I hope and pray that they NEVER, EVER, EVER have another government position ever again.

Along with the worst president ever ... we also had the worst Congress ever. More damage has been done to this counry for the past 6 years, than in any other time. It will take us decades to clear up the mess.

But hopefully, this president and 109th congress has woken people up. Lots of us lived with a democratic for 40+ years until 1994, when the Republicunts took over. But at least we had a democratic president for 8 years (Clinton), and that helped ease the pain and kept 'checks and balances.' The American people NEED to remember what it was for these past six years with a NeoCon-Republicunt congress and president. All the democrats have to do is look back and say "Do you want more of that crap?!?!?!?" Hopefully, for the next 40+ years we can keep a democratic congress and hopefully we will have a democratic president! Then I won't feel so much like leaving the country.

Check out the awesome candles at Esscents.

Hey kids, it's time for another fun-filled episode of Deep Fabulousity. It's been a busy week as usual. Cleaning the house with four dogs, a cat, birds, and a roomie is tough work. Add on the additional freelance work, and I make for one dull man. So, at least this weekend I get to play down in Provincetown, MA (Ptown). But, since it is off season, I don't know how much playing I will actually be doing ... but I still need to get away from it all.

Since it is the Holiday Season, I've been picking up my house a bit more when I have the time. In years past, I always got a real tree. Then when I got my first apartment, I used a fake tree. When I met my last boyfriend Doug, it was real trees from then on. It was a wonderful experience to decorate the tree with him ... until I realized he moved all the ornaments around. From that day on, the six Christmases we had together ... I just let him pick the tree and decorate it himself. Unfortunately, yes, he was that anal about it. So anal in fact ... that he some years he would decorate the tree ... undecorate it, and then do it all over again. And with the dogs, I always had the bother of the dogs peeing on my Christmas Tree. This year, I said 'SCREW IT!' and got a fake tree. It's a 4-foot high fiber-optic tree that changes colors on it's own. I know some of you 'queens' might think that is cheesy, and quite frankly ... I don't care. It's convenient! A few more cheesy Christmas decorations, and I'll have a delightfully tacky Christmas.

I also managed to get some Christmas Shopping done, and I am half-way done with shopping. I only have a few more things to get, but now I have to wait until my next check on December 15th. Then I can finish my shopping and start to wrap those gifts.

First of all, I hope every celebrating Thanksgiving had a very happy, safe, and wonderful time with family and/or friends. Living in Massachusetts, I have a different appreciation of Thanksgiving. As a youngster, and many times since then, I have seen Plymouth Rock where the Pilgrims landed. I've been on the Mayflower many times in my youth, and on more than one occasion, I've been to Plymouth Plantation where the Pilgrims lived. As a frequent traveler to Ptown, if you visit the Monument Museum, you'll see that the Pilgrims actually landed in Provincetown first ... before the natives (not the gays), but the native Americans drove them off.

Anyway, I want to apologize again for taking so long to podcast. I really wish I had more time to Podcast, and I guarantee I am not going to Pod-fade anytime soon. I like podcasting, and I will continue to do it ... I just wish I could schedule it better for you listeners. But, I hope you're all understanding that Life does get in the way sometimes. So, one of the things I am gonna do is start doing a different type of show, but still under this show. Basically, what I am gonna start doing is using my Marantz recorder more, and start recording more shows quickly without so much notes. Maybe keep these lighter and more about other stuff than just politics.

So, in this episode as usual, I bring you up to date on what is going on with me and what has been happening to me. I had a good Thanksgiving in Cumberland, RI at an uncle/aunts house. This Christmas for my family will be held in Paxton, MA which is out by Worcester, MA. The pets are all fine, and the roomie is ok, and hasn't done anything to bother me really. My day-job is doing very well, and I've been there for almost a year now. The freelance work I do at nights, and the weekends is busy, but not super-busy. At this point, I am working on one last project, and I am not sure what comes next.

As usual, I touh on some news items, and I have a comment about all these news items:

US interference 'allowed terror gang to escape'

I definitely want to apologize for not getting this podcast out earlier. I've wanted to podcast so many times before now after my last podcast, but life has gotten in the way as usual. The freelance work was kicking my ass for the last few weeks. But, I had a talk with the woman who gives me this work, and we agreed that we both need a break and we need to pace ourselves so we both don't get burnt-out. I am going to continue doing freelance work, but it'll be at a much more relaxed pace, and I'll have more free-time again ... we both will.

Well, you know November 3rd was my Birthday where I turned fourty (40), and I was in Ptown for the "Meet Your Mate" weekend. It was an ok time. Both myself and my roomie went down, and we each had our own rooms and for the most part did our own thing. We did do some events together like the 'Inn Stroll'. The 'Inn Stroll' was where 10 different guest houses (including the Ranch) was hosting hor'douves and some form of Bacardi Rum drinks. So, as you walk from one guest house to another you had a different rum drink. I only did hald the guest houses though ... the others were on the other side of town, and the trolley they had wasn't really super reliable. So, anyway, I had a great time over the weekend.

So, we (my roomie andI) got back on Sunday, and the next big thing was election night. Obviously, the Democrats handily won the House of Representatives, and after a few days we won the Senate. THANK YOU GOD!!!! Finally there is some hope!

I can only hope that the new Democratic congress does a few things:
1) Change election law so that voting machine code is Open Source and proprietary to a corporation. This means the code can be vetted. Also, electronic voting machines need paper ballots, an get a few companies out of there like Diebold.
2) Restore the writ of Habeus Corpus ... yes, terrorists and U.S. Citizens, natural or naturalized have rights!!!
3) Make sure the President cannot tap our phones without warrants!
4) Restore oversight and the system of checks and balances!!!

It was obvious that there was attempted voter fraud, disenfranchisement, and elimination of people off the voting rolls. But this time, it didn't work ... large amounts of blacks, latinos, new young voters, woman, and even Christian evangelicals all came out voting for Democrats. The Christian Evangelicals was the big surprise. From the exit polls, it was also obvious that people were fed up with the Administrations handling of the Iraq War and the corruption within the GOP:
Most Corrupt Congressmen of 109th Congress
Time for a change!

Anyway, now after the election, and a "thumping" of the GOP. The propaganda is still going strong, and even MORE SO because they lost. This will give FOX news the democrats to pick on for the next four years. However, some of the pundits claim America has gone to the right, become more conservative, and that the democrats who did win were conservative. WTF!!! What kind of crack are they smoking?????? Many of the democrats elected are very liberal and progressive. Hell, the GOP tried to tell us that before the election, and now all of a sudden they're more conservative than the GOP????????? What Bullshit!!!!

I recorded this episode on Friday, and I just got around to posting this show today. I've been a busy little slut in Ptown ... well, not really.

Anyway, that Friday was my birthday, and not just any birthday, but my 40th birthday. It also was the anniversary of my podcast. I've done 81 shows in 52 weeks, so it is obvious that on some occasions I've recorded more than one show in a week. And I hope to get more time to record more shows so I continue to do more than one show in a week.

I know it is after the fact, but I hope everyone had a very safe, and fun-filled Halloween. In this episode I talk about my last weekend in Ptown and how fun that Halloween party is. I haven't posted my pics to my Flickr site yet, but they will be posted today. So, last week was rather un-eventful in my life, work, and free-lance work continue, and as usual it keeps me busy and off the streets. And now here I am back at the Ranch in Ptown, and I think I am done with Ptown and the Ranch for awhile. I had fun, I had a good time, but it's time to go home to my World.

You know when I am down at the Ranch, I have a good time. But, When I get home ... I appreciate my home so much more. I'm sure a lot of people feel that way when they get back home after a vacation.

Finally, in this show like every other show I cover some of the news events that have gone on in the past week. With the elections only a few days way ... there is lots going on:

  • you might have heard about the botched joke from Kerry ...
  • Hacking Democracy
I heard about this story from Democracy Now and Black Box Voting.org
I posted this story on Qpodder, and I amazed at how little response it got.
I suppose there is a lot more going on in the lives of gay peoples?

  • Rothenberg Predicts Democratic Senate!

  • CEO of Diebold Resigns

  • Developing story on Ted Haggard
Falwell plays down his influence ... of course
There are pictures of Ted with Bush ... I am sure the white house will want to distance themselves from him
The guy admits to getting a massage from the male-prostitute
And admits to buying Crystal Meth, but not using it????? Yeah, right?

So, I used my new intro, paused in the show, added some bumps, an d then at the end I forgot to add the Outro ... oh well. Anwyay, I do what I can, especially when I have my mind on other things.

You know, I recorded this show last Wednesday, but I wasn't ready with any new bumps in between my segments. I found a great new song from the Podsafe Music Network called 'Waterboardin' by Tom Smith. I cut the song up into smaller parts, and then I was gonna add those bumps into my podcast, but with Audacity ... it is very tough to do, and is very time consuming. Ultimately, I just added a new Into and added an Outro. So, I am looking for new tools to do recording for my podcasts on the PC. Certainly, I also have Garageband 3 on my 12inch Mac Notebook.

Of course, all the time that I was working on editing my podcast, that was in-between working on the freelance stuff, scouts, house-work, and going down to the cape. So, I finally got this podcast uploaded yesterday.

So, let me once again re-assure everyone that I am fine, the dogs and cat are fine, the roomie is fine, and everything is fine in genral.

On the day of this posting, it is Mondy, October 30th. Last week at this time was Monday, October 23rd, and on this day I went to the Fenway Community Health Center in Boston. My HIV test is Negative, my Liver Function Test is great, and I am now successfully in this HIV/AIDS Vaccine Study and I got my first shot.

So, to get to the meat of the issue, I did cover the following news stories in this podcast:
    1) Congratulations on NJ ... they now have same-sex marriage

    2a) Election problems in 10 states ...
Report Warns of Potential Voting Problems in 10 States
2b) Ex-delegate gets Diebold voting code in mail 3) Stay the course, or don't we ...
    Maliki or not Maliki ...

Ok, at long last, the letter I got from my friend Bobby is finally posted!

It is rather long email, and touched on a lot of issues. I very much appreciate the fact that Bobby took time out of his very busy schedule to do this. I wanted to do some research and debunk, some, if not all of the issues, but unfortunately, life got in the way and I never posted the email. Then 'Tom from Tennessee' my first midwest correspondent suggested that I post the email as is, and then let everyone help in debating the points.

Now, Bobby is a friend of mine and has been so for a very long time. As he says, he's a moderate conservative, and discussing politics with him is always fun. We always can learn from each other, and we both can admit when we're wrong ... and yes, sometimes I am wrong!

A myself and my listeners, and Bobby, debate some of these issues, please be kind and respectful of everyone. This is not about proving Bobby wrong, and myself correct. As myself, and Bobby agree, we want to both seek to establish the truth.

As Arnie Briggs, our old Boy Scout Camp Director used to say: "If the Truth is in your way, you're on the wrong road!"

    And now the email:

    ================================

Great show today! Lots of great topics. I share your deep concern with the current situation in the Middle East. It is a terrible calamity that is difficult to come to grips with. This requires deep thought. Glad you're spending some time on this. I also agree that the truth is the center. Noble is its pursuit.

Here are some of my thoughts:

As you know I'm not a straight down the line Republican. I find that I'm more a JFK democrat. Conservative in global affairs/financial affairs and liberal in social items. I came to this revolution after the stem cell research debate. As you know, I'm deeply emotionally invested into medical research and failure to pursue the valid research is unconscionable.

Hamas is the legally elected government of the Palestine territories but Israel did not seek direct retribution on the Palestinian people when Hamas was elected. To the contrary, they attempted to work with the new government to establish a peace and continued there withdrawals from the Palestinian lands.

Hey Bobby,I have to respectfully disagree with you. Israel HATES Hamas and understandably so. After years of terrorism from Hamas, the Israeli goverment has had enough. Finally, after the death of Yassir Arafat, Israel finally thought they would be dealing with a completely new democractically elected government from the Palestinians. Much to their chagrin, Hamas was elected to be the new form of government for Palestine ... and now Israel finally has to talk to them?????????????? I think that was galling for Israel.

The problem occurred when Hamas was unwilling to control its military/terrorist wing. So as Israel is making very difficult political moves to evacuate the West Bank and the Gaza Strip they are being attacked by the more radical branches of Hamas. You indicated that the Hamas officials would not control the radical wing, and that is true. But they must do it. It you can not let them off the hook. To be a sovereign state you have to control your own borders. It would be like the US allowing our crazy militia groups to cross into Canada and kill Canadians. It is the requirement of an independent state.

I agree, the diplomatic branch of Hamas has to get their radical divisions under control. I absolutely agree! But if they can't, then Hamas will be a failed government, and the area will settle back into chaos again. I think the situation is kind analogous to the IRA vs. Britain. Unless the radical branches of Hamas make some concessions and make some attempt to stop the violence ... then I think Israel the right to treat them like a mad dog ... and put them down. If all radical Hamas can understand is violence, then violence they shall get ... unfortunately.

As far as the incarceration of women and children in Israel is a very difficult thing for us to get our arms around culturally. I need to do more research on this but I raise the general topic of citizen combatants. Unfortunately in the Middle East, particularly in Hamas these are often women and children. They are regularly the suicide bombers. So assuming that Israel is holding them on valid grounds I would suggest we change or perspective on that. Maybe you can shoot me some links on that.

Bobby, to be honest I have to do more research on this as well.

The interesting thing about Hezbollah is that they where started as a resistance force to Israeli occupancy. But there activities have not stopped when the occupation ended. Why? What is the organizational goal? After Israel left Lebanon what was the point of continuing? Also, you have to include the fact that not only have they regularly kidnapped soldiers, which can't go on forever, but they have also been lobbing unguided missiles over the border.

Israel had gone into Lebanon before, and will again, and again, and again. Some of my sources (yes, I will have to get the links) suggest that Israel is trying to get access to the Latani river as a source of water since Israel and their settlements seem to be using up water at a rapid pace and need to find new supplies. So, it seems to make sense that Hezbollah wouldn't go away since Israel is still on the border and has threatened to go back into Lebanon. As far as the unguided missles over the border ... yes, that is a war-crime no doubt. Hezbollah should stick with military targets and stay away from civilians ... I would say the same for Israel!

Lebanon committed in a UN resolution to disarm Hezbollah. This is difficult as Hezbollah holds some seats in the parliament and are often better armed then the Lebanese army. But they have done little, potentially nothing, to achieve this. Now armed parts of Hezbollah are all over the country. Hezbollah also blends in with the regular citizens. This effectively makes them shields. Hezbollah does not care if innocent people die.

Bobby: I agree! If Hezbollah holds seats in Parliament, and has better armed militia, then what is Lebanon to do. I don't think Lebanon soldiers could disarm Hezbollah. Maybe Lebanon would go into a civil way trying to get rid of Hezbollah. In any event, it seems the country of Lebanon is being held hostage by Hezbollah ... then again many of the Lebanese seem to like Hezbollah while some detest their presences. I think it would take a large majority of the Lebanese to decide they want Hezbollah, arm the Lebanese soldiers and then remove Hezbollah. Unfortunately, Hezbollah soldiers don't wear uniforms and DO blend in with the population a you said, so routing them out would be problematic.

The Airport/Bridges where destroyed in a clear military objective to cutoff supply routes from Syria and Iran. There is no other conceivable way that they are getting armed with the missiles that they have recently used.

Bobby: It is true, that Israel dropped leaflets warning civilians leave an area before it was bombed. It is unsure if Hezbollah kept people from leaving or not. It is a fact, that when civilians did try to leave that many of these cars were shot at or bombed. It is also a fact that the bridges and roads were wiped out leaving civilians WITHOUT anyway to get out after they were warned to. It also made it impossible for humanitarian aid to get to people who needed them. This was also reported by the UN, which is supposed to be an impartial observer.

I agree with the premise that kidnap of soldiers has occurred before but this can not occur forever. How long do you play that game before you have to take out the force that is doing it to you? What would we do if Mexican Militia where grabbing people off the border of California claiming we stole California (we kind of did) from Mexicans?

Bobby: Do you honestly think Israels reaction of bombing deep into Lebanon was an appropriate, measured, response to these kidnappings? I don't, and most of the World would agree with me. Yes, Hezbollah kidnapped soldiers ... but Israel has also gone over the border and kidnapped members of Hezbollah as well.

The interesting thing was that the initial response was condemned by the moderate Arab States. There specifically written statements where clear that they would not stick up for an organization like Hezbollah. The problem now is when to stop.

    Bobby: Yeah, I agree.

What war crimes have been proved here? By this standard we where guilty of war crimes in the Baltic's. For example, if you take out a bridge to stop the flow of armaments is not a war crime. If you do it to isolate and torture the population it is. If you hit a building that you reasonably assume to have combatants in it is not a war crime. If you intentionally bomb a civilian only building it is a war crime. It is unclear if Israel has committed any war crimes. It is very clear that Hezbollah's use of rockets has.

Bobby: I can now say it is months after the hostilities have ended ... somewhat. We know that Hezbollah bombing civilian areas is a war-crime. The UN and the World have also reported on what it is Israel did, and there are war crimes. Almost the entire infrastructure of that nation was wiped out .. including electrical stations ... a war-crime. If any civilian area, without Hezbollah present, were cut-off and isolated from humanitarian aid, that is a war-crime. It is a KNOWN fact that cluster-bombs, ILLEGAL against International Law, were dropped by the HUNDREDS ALL OVER Lebabon ... in civilian areas were Hezbollah may not have been.

Israel may have violated UN resolutions. But they are often are weak and we often only hold one side to account. For example, Israel violates a UN resolution entering Lebanon but Lebanon violates the same resolution by not controlling Hezbollah.

Bobby: Agreed! Both parties are guilty! Both should be held to account!

What does this have to do with Iraq? Who are these mercenaries you speak of? Iraq is a different deal. You know my feelings on it.

Hmmmmm, don't even remember where I was going with this point. And I can't remember your feelings on this. I probably did four months ago ... but I can't now.

Iran and Syria are supporting a terrorist organization. This is their proxy war against Israel at the expense of the Lebanese.

Bobby: Does anyone in the world have proof that Syria and Iran are supporting Hezbollah? Do you mean the United States has proof? Do you really want to believe you're own government after all the other lying fiascos? The last government on the planet that I would believe anything from is my own!!!!! Funny, some would say that this is the United States war against Iran and Syria by proxy of Israel. Maybe Israel was testing some experimental weapons for us? Maybe Israel (and the United States) was testing the reaction of Syria and Iran? Of course, that is pure speculation on my part.

Israel clearly does not do our bidding all the time. Look at the bombing on the day that Rice shows up to setup peace talks. They align with us often but not always.

Bobby: Agreed! I think the United States and Israel use each other for our own politcal ends. Israel certainly pushed us (I mean encouraged us) to go into Iraq. But I think if the Israeli's had their way ... they would want us to take out Iran first ... then Iraq.

What is the US Petrol Dollar Standard? I can't seem to find anything on that. I'm curious as resources are resources. Gold, Silver, Oil, Corn, etc are all worth something. That something can be represented as dollars, Euro, Yen, or any other tradable commodity. So it confuses me what the issue is here. Lack of information on my part I guess.

Every government in the world buys oil with the U.S. Dollar! When any country needs oil, they need to have a large amount of U.S. dollars in supply so they can buy oil. That helps prop up our U.S. dollar. The real reason we went into Iraq was not for the oil ... but to make sure that Iraqi oil is STILL only sold with the U.S. dollar. Saddam Hussein was going to start selling oil against the Euro ... Hugo Chavez wants to do the same with venezuelan oil. By the way, when the price of oil goes up because of Middle-East wars ... that increases the price of oil which means every country needs more U.S. Dollars. Our U.S. dollar has not been based on the gold standard since 1971 because of Richard M. Nixon. Our U.S. dollar is now based on Fiat currency ... listen to KarmaBanque Radio for more information on that.

World War definition discussion is a matter of semantics. No real meaning. Pick a definition and run with it. Determining a definition does not bring us to a definitive result such as nuclear war or failure of civilization as a whole. It is a Simple matter of humans trying to label events.

Bobby: I tried to objectively look-up the definition and I think the definition I used has merit. A war of equal or larger size than World War II, involving more than 2 nations, and on more than 1 continent.

I would refer to those "Some Christians" as radical Christians. Radical Christians are a very, very, very, very small group and paying them much attention is not in my mind a worth while commitment of time.

Bobby: I would say "Radical Christians" are those who follow Pat Robertson, Jerry Falwell, James Dobson, Tony Perkins, etc. And just look at all those mega-churches. These are the "christians" that scare the Hell outta-me.

The end of days is a part of Christianity but it is an odd thing. Much of the concept comes from Revelations which historically is questionable. It was written much later than the rest of the New Testament and some historians make a case that it was really a book about certain powerful Roman Officials. Here is the real deal in my mind. Christ indicated that there would be a second coming. The interesting thing is examining how the Jews envisioned the first coming of Christ. They assumed that he would come as a conquering King and rule as David did. David being the most prominent earthly Jewish King in history. So, they where way off. But they based it on the Old Testament. To assume that we understand what the second coming of Christ based on our earthly understanding of scripture I think puts us as risk for the same situation.

Bobby: I agree with you whole-heartedly. You're intellectual assesment is factual. But ... the problem is the "evangelicals" who take the Bible at face value. Like they literally believe the world was created in seven days. Of course, these "christians" waiting for the "End Times" is fine, so long as it doesn't both me or anyone else for that matter. They can keep waiting for the end and Judgement to come. What I find sooooo disgusting is that the end times for them also means pain and suffering in the world for many people who don't deserve it. I've said it before, and I'll say it again ... those "evangelicals" who look forward to the end times are the least worthy of Salvation.

What is the end all solution for Israel? It is a tough situation but I risk sounding like I'm singing directly from the Republican song sheet when I say "If Israel was to put all its guns down they would be pushed into the ocean, if Hezbollah and Hamas disarmed they would have their sovereign states and peace." For some people in the Middle East, peace is not the goal.

Bobby: I agree with you, it is a tough situation. There will always be some minority fringe group that wants Israel's demise. But as I said earlier. This situation is analogous to the IRA and Britain. Britain eventually ... after decades, had to site down with the IRA and hash out a peace deal. It took a long time, and I am sure there were some in the IRA who wanted to fight on ... but the more diplomatic faction of the IRA shut them down accordingly. Likewise, Israel will have to come to the table at some point. As YOU said, if the diplomatic section of Hamas can't control the radical version, the the diplomatic section might as well quit now, and let Israel deal with them with a heavy-hand. The diplomatic sectionof Hamas may have to cut out the radical section violently on their own if there is to be any succes .... and I don't see it happening any time soon. But Israel is not blameless in all this ... they are occupiers of the Gaza Strip and West Bank, and they are responsible for providing a LOT to the Palestinians. There is no doubt that Israel is treating the Palestinians like shit, and they have every right to be pissed at Israel ... just as the IRA had every right to be pissed at Britain for their slights.

Hey everyone, I am alive and well. The dogs and cat are alive and well. The roomie is alive ... for now. Haven't killed him yet, but I can say at times that I wanted to. He's a nice guy, but we all have our moments.

In any event, the free-lance as always, has been keeping me busy, but I did find enough time to do some things around the house that I needed to do, and I even managed to get out some this weekend. The highlight for sure was seeing the Pet Shop Boys last Friday (Oct 13th) in Boston at the Opera House. When I was in Ptown for Labor Day, I bought 3 tickets, one for me, one for my roomie, and one for Antonio who works at the Ranch in Ptown.

I have been listening to PSB for decades and grew old with them. I first saw the Pet Shop Boys in concert 4 years ago when I was still with my 'ex' Doug. The show wasn't great back then, but I was still happy to see PSB. This last show was 1000 times better than than four years ago. It was so awesome, and I am still beaming from seeing PSB once more. What a great show!

On a more mundane note, I am still doing the free-lance and I think I am going to use the extra cash to get away and maybe take a vacation to San Francisco. That way I can see my friends from the Shockingly Tasty podcast and Corkey Mineola from the Bad Weeds podcast.

Like most people, I am keeping up on the news, and keeping an eye on all the races for the mid-term elections. I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas. I just hope that this is a happy time with a majority win in both house for Democrats. So, in the news items, here is what I dug up:
    Tucker Carlson to Evangelicals: Duped
David Kuo, who was the number two guy at the Office of Faith Based initiatives in the White House writes a scathing account of how the administration used Christians to grab and maintain power. He wrote a book called "Tempting Faith" which every right-wing, "christian" evangelical should read.

Gee, politicians lied to their base, to their constituents to get into power?????????????????????? Who would thunk it.

Hello, friends, family, listeners, and others ... yes, I am still alive and doing very well. So, well in fact, that if I was any busier ... I'd have to kill myself. Just Kidding! :-)

Once again, freelance software engineering work is kicking my ass, but it is extra cash ... or at least going toward paying off my laptop, and now it is paying off my new PDA, a Dell Axim x51. This freelance, and life in general, is keeping me kinda busy, but at least it keeps me off the streets and outta the bars.

By the way, I joined an HIV/AIDS Vaccine Study, and it's a 4.5 year committment. I could be getting the placebo, or I could be getting the real vaccine. I won't know for another 5-6 years. I don't expect anyone to do this. It is a deeply personal decision, and if you have a partner, it is something you should discuss with them. Since I am single, and will be for some time, and since I will be living in the same place for a long time to come ... I figure I would get involved. It's the least I can do to give back to my community ... other than podcasting.

To me, the big news isn't Foley, or the elections, but the 'Military Commission Act of 2006.' What's even more disgusting is the asshole democrats who voted for it because of mid-term elections. Hopefully, the United States Supreme Court of the land will strike down this law even though Alberto Gonzalez has threatend judges to NOT question the Presidents Authority. Well ... until this law goes away ... welcome to a 'police state.'

In other news, Lawyer Says FCC Ordered Study Destroyed. This document would have shown that consolidation of media companies owned by one corporation would be very BAD for the consumer and American in general. I mean obviously, if the radio, tv, and print media were all owned by the same people, you' get one opinion on the world view.

Of course, everyone and the media is discussing this douche-bag. He's not gay, I reject that. He's an Ephebophile which means he likes teenage boys. Yeah .... I am a gay man, and I think a lot of teenage boys are attractive, but at 39 (almost 40), I prefer someone closer to my own age. Thanks to Mark Foley, the Christian right-wing can once again try to link homosexuality in men to Pedophilia. Thanks Mark Foley for fucking life up for the rest of us queers who have always been out, loud, and proud.

Of course, the GOP is trying to cover their ass (poorly), blame conspiracy theory, blaming the victim, and not take personal responsibility for their failures. The democrats need to leap on this so much. "If they can't protect our own children, how can they protect us from terrorists!" If this was a democrat, the GOP, and all the Neo-Cons, and the christian-evangelicals would be having an old-time Crucifixion , and condeming all democrats.

Now 58 percent think that President Bush and the Administration lied about the Iraq war. 42% are still dumb-fucks, and 57% took 3.5 years to figure that out. The last 1% knew this was bullshit all along.

It hasn't beena good week for Republicunts ... maybe, I am just venting, but I hope they do more than lose both Houses this election. I sincerely hope that these Republicunts all burn in the hottest part of Hell. But I'm not bitter ....

I know, I know, it's a miracle I am posting another podcast within the same week. I guess it's just because there is so much going on, and I mean, to me, it's big news.

First of all, an intelligence report comes out that shows that Iraq and 9/11 had nothing to do with each other. Rumsfeld claims he hadn't read it yet, Rumsfeld claims he hadn't read it yet, so they use that excuse to avoid answering questions that they lied to get us into an unjust and immoral war.

Second, Bill Clinton lays the smack-down on Chris Wallace. It was a conservative "hit-job" on Bill Clinton. I am sure Fox News meant to embaress Clinton and make him look like a fool. But, if any of you saw the interview, you know that Bill got a little upset and put Chris Wallace in his place. Bill was articulate and spelled it out ... a great backfire to Fox News Sunday ... here it is kids ... the TRUTH coming out and without any interruption from a loudmouth hack like O'Reilly or Hannity. Chris Wallace sat there and took it, and didn't say anything. I find it interesting now that Fox News realized what a mistake this was. All over the Internet, Fox is desperately trying to remove this interview before too many people see it. It definitely is a wake-up call when Bill Clinton says why don't you [and the other media] ask Bush why he didn't try to get Osama in the first eight months in office.

Now you have the National Intelligence Estimate (NIE) leaked by the NY Times that clearly says, in not so many words, that our war in Iraq has only made the world more dangerous, and that we are less safe now than ever before. Of course, the Administration is going to lie and say we are safer ... but reasonable know the opposite is true. This Administration put the world in danger, and they get to leave office with their war profits and leave the next Administration to clean-up their mess. Just like Bill Clinton had to clean-up the mess of 12 years of Republican Presidential Idiocy!!!!!

Some of this NIE has been de-classified and is available for public viewing. Some politicians have asked that this NIE be completed and released to the public ASAFP! But it looks like John Negroponte won't release this document until January ... well after the November mid-term elctions ... well .... how convenient!!!

The month of September has flown-by! This whole year has flown by and 2008 can't get hear quick enough. I cannot wait, and I think much of the country can't wait until election time. I'm gonna be one of the first ones in line and my voting precinct. If the democrats don't win the House and Senate back ... I think you'll see some real problems start to go exponentially.

This is my weekly podcast, and I am really hoping I will have more time to podcast this week, because I have a lot more to say about what's going on. I can tell you last week, was incredibly busy, and I had a lot of freelance work going on and it ate up a lot of more time.

Also, I want to give my deepest regards and condolences to Jennifer Snoddy from that The Girl On Tech podcast. Please go to her site and give your regards, thoughts, and condolences to the Snoddy family over the loss of their young daughter Keera who passed away this past weekend.

In this podcast, I bring you up to date on what's going on with me, but not in any great detail. That's boring and I don't think anyone wants the intricate detals of my life. But, like I said before, there was a lot of freelance work that took up a lot of my time, and it wasn't until Thursday night that I really felt like I had some free-time. I could have done a podcast earlier in the week, but I thought giving my dogs some attention and playing World of Warcraft was more appealing and relaxing ... especially playing with the dogs.

In the news, I usually have links to send you to. But, in this case I just figured I talk about some things that have been going on in the news. So, I am not trying to prove anything ... just giving my opinion. After all, this podcast is just like an audio blog.

So, I talk about the following:

    • Pope Bene-dickhead and Islam
    • CIA Report about Iraq and 9/11
    • Torture
    • Mid-Term Elections and Voting Machine Fraud

As usual, I have been a busy bitch. I, at one time, had some free time because I didn't have any freelance work to do. So, I was using that time to podcast, clean my house, work outside my house, and play World of Warcraft. But now, the freelance work is kicking my ass and eating all my time.

I also haven't had time to work on my new web-site. I also haven't had any time to work on that rebuttal to my friends email.

But I did have a chance to help my parents with their wireless, my friends wireless. I also helped out my roomies uncle (and his partner) with their computer this weekend. I also had a great chat with Zillafag from the ZillaFag podcast.

Lastly, this is the third part of three of my Democracy Now series. Amy Goodman of DemocracyNow.org was on a book tour with Dr. Robert Jay Lifton. At the end of both their speeches, they had a Question and Answer session, and this is what I recorded. I apologize for the quality. By this time, my batteries were going and so I had to plug in my Marantz recorder. The microphone was near the speaker, and so the quality may not be that great.

This is the second of three parts of Democracy Now book tour. After Amy Goodman gave her speech, Dr. Robert Jay Lifton, who recently co-wrote a new book called "Crimes of War: Iraq" gave his compelling speech. His speech was a little shorter than Amy's, but still good nonetheless. Please enjoy this speech from Dr. Lifton, and I hope you get to hear Amy and Dr. Lifton personally someday.

In other news with me, as you know I am working on my site ... again, and here is the link this time to the new site. Please give me your constructive criticism on what you think. Personally, I like the idea of having three columns instead of two. I certainly have the real estate (sceen real estate for you non-geeks) for it.

I am also still working on the retort to the email I got from my friend Bobby. I'll get it finished some day, but I have to start the process first. And lastly, September 11th ... I basically share with you what happened with me on that day and how I left work, got my mom who was working up the street from me, and we both went home that day.

On Labor Day Weekend, September 1st, 2006 I was fortunate to see Amy Goodman from DemocracyNow.org speak on her book tour with Dr. Robert Jay Lifton. I was notified of this event by my good friend David Byrd who does That Blue Jeans Guy podcast.

Armed with my brand-spanking-new Marantz Digital Recorder, I record the entire event. Yeah, the quality may not be that great, you can probably hear me breathing in the background. Also, the Marantz record things in 5 minute segments, so I had to copy the multiple mp3 files into one longer mp3 file.

This first 35 minutes is the start of the event and the start of Amy Goodman speaking, actually here entire speech. There will be 2 other parts:
Part 2 will be the speech from Dr. Robert Jay Lifton
Part 3 will be the Question and Answer session at the end.

If you check out my Flickr site, you will see many of the photos of Ptown that weekend and of this event.

Also remember that tonight is the eve of Sept. 11th. The current administration used this day as an excuse to not only invade Afghanistan, but also to go after Iraq which had nothing to do with this dreadful, horrible, tragedy. Never misunderstand, our administration had ulterior motives for going into Iraq. Terrorism was just a convenient excuse to do so.

For the past five (5) years, this administration has infered and suggested that Iraq was somehow tied to 9/11 and there is still 43% of the country that still believe it!!!! The lower the education level, the more likely they are to believe it. AND NOW ... ABC wants to put on TV this fake-umentary which tries to put all the blame of 9/11 squarely on the shoulders of the Clinton Administration ... a complete sham and a complete lie!!!! Talk about "revisionist historians."

There's more I could say on this, but it will wait until the next time. Peace!

Hello everyone, I hope everyone had a great Labor Day Weekend, and I am sure we're all (or most of us) are back at work now. The weather in Provincetown, MA (Ptown) was kinda lousy all weekend ... except for Monday morning which is when I left Ptown. Anyway, I had a great time in Ptown, and this podcast talks all about it.

As many of you know, I listen to DemocracyNow.org podcast with Amy Goodman and Juan Gonzalez, and I can't promote them enough. It is by the far the height of news. It is by far, NOT the opposite of Fox News. Since Faux News has a conservative GOP bias to it, that would imply that DemocracyNow.org is liberally biased, and I don't think they are. I consider DemocracyNow.org, to be center, to tell the TRUTH, no matter which side it favors or hurts. I think and feel that they are being intellectually honest. And in this podcast, I really want to be the same way ... I know I am liberal, and a democrat, but I want to be intellectually honest .... even when I have to swallow some points from the other side.

Anyway .... Amy Goodman and her brother David wrote a new book called 'Static' and Amy was on a book tour with Dr. Robert Jay Lifton who has also written a new book called "Crimes of War, Iraq." Without David Byrd, of that Blue Jeans Guy podcast, he pointed out to me that Amy's book tour was going to be in Ptown on Friday, September 1st, at the Provincetown High School. So, I want to give David Byrd from That Blue Jeans Guy podcast a big hug and say thank you sooooooooooooooo much, for bringing this to my attention.

So ... I went into the details of my weekend as I said. The great highlights were:
    - Having lunch with VJ Tommy Yaz;
    - Finally getting my interview with the lovely Hedda Lettuce ... I love her!
    - Seeing 'Big Wigs' show with Joe Smitzch and Thirsty Burlington ... GREAT SHOW!
    - Having great sex with Phillip from HOTlanta and Stefan from Halifax, Nova Scotia.
    - Seeing Amy Goodman and Dr. Robert Jay Lifton Give a speech at the Provincetown high School
    - Amy Goodman and Dr. Lifton signed their books and I got my picture taken with Amy Goodman

I record the speech from Amy Goodman and Dr. Lifton. It is about 90 minutes long ... so I am going to break it down into three parts each about 30 minutes long:
    - Part 1 - Amy Goodman and her speech
    - Part 2 - Dr. Robert Lifton and his speech
    - Part 3 - The Question and Answer part of the night

I didn't focus so much on news this week, but there has been an overwhelming trend to call anyone who disagrees with this administration as Nazi (or Terrorist) appeasers. This administration must be getting desperate to get voters to keep in power a "rubber-staming" Neo-Conservative Republicunt Congress. They must know that the end to their reign of terror is about to be over in just 60 days from today ... September 7th, 2006.

    On a few other notes:
    - I am starting to work on my web-site again, and just added a link to Stop ABC from the 'fake-umentary' that they plan on airing about September 11th.
    - I am also working on making changes to my web-site which I hope you all like. It's a work in-progress, so I hope you all like my chnges.
    - I am still working on that letter my Bobby sent me. It will become a blog post with his letter and my rebuttals on each and every point.

Well, I recorded this show last night, posted the file this morning, and here I am publishing the post all with 24 hours. Must be some kind of miracle! And don't be surprised if I do another podcast tomorrow night ... maybe ....

So, in this show I catch you up on what happened last week and my trip to Ptown. I had a really good time, and caught up with the drama at The Ranch. It is still such an excellent place to stay ... for gay men. ;-) I also went to the gay part of Herring Cove beach and had a good time there. Caught some sun, checked out the eye-candy, and saw lots of sex going on in the dunes. Good Times! Even managed to hook-up with one of the other Ranch guests afterwards.

Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to interview Hedda Lettuce, but you can check out here site at Hedda Lettuce. Since, I am going back to Ptown this Labor Day Weekend, I'll try again. And if anyone wants to catch her show in Ptown, you have the month of September, and then she's back to NYC.

As for this shows news items:
    Schwarzenegger Signs Gay Rights Bill
Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld accused a majority of Americans of supporting fascism
Cafferty: Katrina may be Viewed as the Defining Moment of the Bush Presidency
New Orleans remembers Katrina with style
Rumsfeld says war critics are Nazi appeasers

Changes are coming to my web-site soon. I want to consolidate a bunch of links to news-sites, podcasts, and other places of interest on the net. And I still have to post that letter that my conservative friend Bobby sent me. I just have to go through his points and pick them all apart. Shouldn't take me too long, but it is time-consuming.

This is the second post. After 30 minutes of typing, LibSyn lost all my show notes for this show. It is 12:45am, Monday Morning, and I am FUCKING EXHAUSTED!!!!!

First I want to let everyone know that I am alive and well. The dogs and the one cat are all alive, happy, and healthy. I wish I could say the same for the birds. One bird has been very sick for a while now, and I think it's done ... the anti-biotics aren't helping, and I just hope it doesn't suffer at all before it passes away!

I did record this show last Wednesday night, early Thursday morning, and then went to bed. I meant to publish the show the morning (last Friday), but Life got in the way. So, I apologize to everyone for taking so long, and I want to assure you that this is not a sign of things to come. Things will slow down for me eventually, and when I am inside during the Winter, I will continue to Podcast!

As for the show itself, I talk about the events of LAST WEEK where I moved furniture around. Finally got my roomies room emptied of ALL MY STUFF including the 27" TV, the sub-woofer, and the large entertainment center. Of course, there is always the prep work, for the living room before the furniture got moved. Along with that I was moving a years worth of beer bottles out of my house, and into my truck so I could take them to a redemption center. And finally, moving out some MORE stuff from the ex-boyfriend who left me three years ago .... sigh!

But that is just the inside work. And I can't seem to get the roomie to do too much inside or outside the house. I am gonna have to kick his ass and we'll both be outside in the yard working when it is dry and sunny. Once the winter comes, the outside work will go away until Spring and then the entire Winter will just be inside housework.

    In the news:
    Feds Appeal Ruling on Surveillance
One of the most important stories of the year, and every fucking major network blows it off. ABC gave it the most attention, but STILL everyone gave the Jon-Benet Ramsey murder suspect more fucking attention. Who gives a shit, she's dead, and he's not the real killer. Just what the media delivers ... something to divert the attention of the simple-minded jackasses of this country of which there are many.
Judge Ann Taylor Diggs tells fuck-face Bushie that he is NOT a King and that the U.S. does not have a heredity monarchy ... that MEANS that the President is NOT OUTSIDE OF THE LAW!!!!!! Only a king can live outside the law and Georgie is NOT A KING!!!! So these asshole pundits say that the 43-page ruling is not "scholarly enough!" Hello .... she has been a federal judge for over 35 years. But, the funny thing is ... they didn't say she was wrong! Of course Bush thinks it's wrong, and I'd like to see that law degree please. Alberto Gonzalez has a law degree ... but likes to ignore it ... and these guys will appeal it all the way to the Supreme Court. Bush finally said it .... because bush is an idiot .... as discussed on Joe Scarborough
Bush says: “Iraq Had ‘Nothing’ To Do With 9/11″
Duh! Thanks for finally admitting the truth ... albeit you didn't realize it. It was just nice hearing it.
    Christian Coalition losing chapters
Whether in smaller groups, or one big groups, these assholes are so non-christian and nothing more than lying-hypocritical-bigoted fucking assholes who wants everyone to worship the way they do or you're going to Hell! I say FUCK THEM! The only good part about this is that they have less power in Washington as many smaller groups than as one large group. And the less power they have in Washington D.C., that is a good thing!

Finally ... my friends at RCC (Randolph Country Club), our local waterin' hole. These guys are at least a decade plus older than I am. And some of them don't care about politics or completely have the wrong idea about politics. Sometimes, you can push people with a little nudge, and sometimes you need a 2x4 over the backadahead. In either case, I am tired of fighting with stupid people ... when it comes to politics. I'm just sooooooooo tired of it.

So, here I am on a Wednesday night. Just got back from the RCC (Randolph Country Club, NOT Roman Catholic Church), and feeling pretty good after a couple of drinks. Anyway, I recorded this podcast last night and planned on publishing it this morning .... but got so busy at work, that it had to wait until now.

In this episode, I catch you up on me and what has been going on with me, my house, my dogs, my roomie, and my yard ... it has been a very busy week working in my back yard and pictures are coming to prove it. My back-yard has never looked better. During the winter, I can kick back and play video games while it is freezing cold and snowy outside ... in the meantime, during the summer, I want to be outside the house as much as possible.

So, I haven't chatted with my straight freind Bobby yet ... he must be travelling this week, but we'll catch-up. I wanted to post his lengthy letter and comment on it ... but not without his permission. Also, in the greatest of announcements ... one of my listeners sent me a gift, a small token of his appreciation for a podcast. I am sooooooo touched, flattered, and honored ... I never expected anything, but I am so flattered and honored. He is a long-time listener, and contributor to the show, and everything is going great for him ... and that makes we so very happy! :-D

So, in the news recently, we still have our "terra" warning and you know I think it is all BULLSHIT! It's worth repeating the link I had last week: Terra! Terra! Terra!
Source: U.S., U.K. at Odds Over Timing of Arrests
Gregory, Stephanopoulos ignored, downplayed NBC report that U.S. officials rushed UK to make terror arrests

In the meanwhile, a cease-fire has been declared between Hezhollah and Israel and both sides claimed victory. It is also now known, that Cheney's office helped motivate this 30+ day war. The blood of innocent Lebanese is on our hands now! Thanks Cheney you asshole! I guess with this "cease-fire" gas prices will have to come down now. And the Christian-fundies waiting for that Rapture will have to wait a little longer now. Yeah, it sucks World War III hasn't started yet and there is some peace in the Middle East now.

Anyway, this show was a little longer than normal, but thanks for downloading, being patient with me, and listening to my rant!

I recorded this show on Thursday, and yeah I know it's taken me a couple of days to publish it ... just call me lazy I guess. Anyway, in this show I bring the latest goings on with me, and that is a small part of the show. What I really want to discuss is fight or flight, is it bravery or cowardice? There is no right or wrong answer here, and I am not going to be judgemental of anyone.

There are lots of people who have left this country because of our insane, assinine goverment. I mean it is obvious we are quickly slidin into fascism and a totalitarian state ... unless we can win back the elections this November an if sane, honest, anti-war politicians can take over the Congress. I don't hate all Republicans, but after a decade of their corruption, a Democratic congress would be a nice change.

So, what we have is our basic animal instinct, fight or flight. A cornered animal or even a cornered person has no choice but to fight. But, when given the chance, most animals, and most people would 'flight.' Some people have thought that would be cowardly, wouldn't it be more honorable to stay and fight? Not neccessarily so. Think of all the people that came to this country years ago to find a better life for themselves an their family ... that takes courage. I think it is just as brave to uproot ones's whole life and move to someplace new. But like I said, there is no right or wrong answer here and different people have different situations.

In recent news, this terrorist debacle the other day is BS, and here is a link for you all to read:
    Terra! Terra! Terra!

So, the timing couldn't be any better ... Tony Blair the night before this terror alert almost lost his job. According to this article, this investigation had been going on for some time, and the U.S. and Britian now decide to make it public?????? Yeah, no doubt, politically motivated because of the results of Primary elections all over this country. I guess the Administration has to remind the STUPID, NAIVE people of this country that Repukes are strong on defense and the Democrats aren't ... what bullshit. The sad part is that there are LOTS of people out there who do believe that BS.

So, as I said in my show, I want to provide some links that I use to get my news every day:

    KarmaBanque Radio Podcast
    Democracy Now
    Daily KOS

I recorded this show on Wednesday, and here I am just getting to publish it now. Boy, do I suck! Anyway, this is a much shorter, much lighter show. If we are going into World War III, there isn't much any of us can do to stop it. So, we might as well sit back, and enjoy the ride. This is probably why I'm drinking heavily ... just kidding ... maybe. :-)

So, two weekeends ago, I was in Ptown, and I talk about that for a little bit. I was only gone for a weekend, and I didn't interview anyone. I was so unprepared. This time, I'll be more prepared when I go down next time. I am gonna get some business cards made up for my podcast, get a couple of T-shirts, and see about getting that Marantz recorder sometime soon. It'll be so much better than the iRiver. In any case, I had a great time that weekend in Ptown, and I look forward to going own again soon.

So, the new roomie has finally moved in. He moved in about a week ago, and setup his bed. So, now begins the long slow tedious task of unpacking his staff, and moving some of his stuff into the basement and into the attic for storage. It's wierd having a roomie after having lived alone for three years, but it's something different, and he won't be here forever ... nothing is forever.

I did cover some news tidbits in this episode, but I didn't really use any links, I just touched on what's going on in the world.
    1) Israel still fucking Lebanon over ...
    2) Iraq and Afghanistan are still going on ...
    3) Our own mid-term elections heating up ...
    4) Speaking of heating up ... how's that Global Warming?

This show is my emotional rant about the crisis in the Middle-East. The show is a little longer than usual, but that is because i just had much to say. Let me make it perfectly clear to everyone who reads this that I WANT to be FOR Israel, but I can't in good conscience. There are jews, non-jews, Israeli's, and others who feel that Israel has taken an extrordinarily crazy response to Hamas and Hezbollah.

I'm not a Middle-East expert, and I know you can get the news from many other sources, so I don't want to parrot what you already know. But I do know that Hezbollah has kidnapped Israeli soldiers in the past. And a few times before in the past, Israel was able to trade POW's with Hezbollah, usually with a german mediator. So, it begs the question ... why did Israel decide to go bat-shit now and decide to punish the entire nation for the acts of a few. This is by no means a limited response, and I am sure Hezbollah is going WTF?!?!?!?!?!?

yeah, yeah, yeah, I know, Hezbollah is considered a terrorist organization, and many people see them as being funded by Iran and Syria. Is Iran next? Did the U.S. government prod Israel into attacking Lebanon (and then maybe Syria next) on our behalf. Why isn't the U.S. telling Israel (our bitch-puppet) to back the fuck off. When Israel pisses off the Arab world, when Israel treat the Gaza abd West Bank and such ... the Arab world sees Israel as being the EXACT SAME as the U.S. ... to them we are the same entity. So, anything Israel does reflects badly on the U.S.

So, is Iran next since they fund Hezbollah also? Iran is 3x the size of Iraq, and we can't even get our shit together in Iraq. Also, Iran has made oil deals with China and Russia ... can you just imagine how these countries would feel if the U.S. gained control of Iranian oil (however, unlikely that would be). Can you imagine China calling in our debt? That would cripple our economy and we'd all be screwed ... more so than we already are.

So ... when did WW III start? Was it the 9/11 Attack? Was it when the U.S. invaded Iraq, or did it just start with Israel? Well, I have a number of links regarding World War III:
    Wiki: world War III
The Planned World War 3 - A Play in Numerous Acts
    Sploid: World War III

I did some research on what is considered a "World War" and why some assholes think we are already WW 4 or WW 5. Well, it's BULLSHIT ... World War III has already come close to starting many, many times in the past, and maybe it has finally started? If it has started, it's only a matter of time before Nuclear Bombs start falling and millions, perhaps billions of people will die. There are at least two groups who are ecstatic that is this happening:
The war profitters who see only profit from death, blood, and destruction ... may they forever burn in Hell!
The second group is a group of evengelical "christians" who see this as the final war between good and evil. That this is the end times, and that the rapture is imminent. I'm not the only one who sees this. This has been talked about many times with different podcasts and different shows. Don't believe me .... do the research yourself ... and here is a start.

I mean can you imagine ... these "christians" celebrate the loss of life because they think the Rapture is imminent and they will all go to Heaven, and the rest of us can all go to Hell ... quite literally! If you are Christian, then he last thing you should want is the end of the world, you should hope the Rapture is staved off for as long as possible, but the only thing these people can do be is wallow at orgasmic joy at the end of the world because they think they won't have to deal with it. Sadly, those who would look forward to the end of the world ... in my opinion ... are the least worthy of Salvation!!!!! Personally, in my opinion, these are sick fucks!!!!!!

Sorry, for this long post ... but I am against war! At this time I am against Israel, AND Hamas, AND Hezbollah! There has got to be peace and diplomatic solutions with these people. If Hamas and Hezbollah CANNOT and WILL NOT accept the existence of Israel, then surely World War III will start someday! I just hope it hasn't happened yet. I DO NOT want the end of the world! I DO NOT want the Rapture! I DO NOT want war, or bloodshed! Until the crisis in the Middle-East stops, I'm going to be a nervous wreck!

So, it was an ordinary week. Cleaning my house, brushing the dogs, an working on my freelance stuff ... all the while I had Skype on. The next thing I know Madge Weinstein calls me on Skype from Yeast Radio, and there I was in a conference call with Madge and Cheryl Mercowski. One thing led to another, and I informed the ladies that I indeed have an Aneros prostrate stimulator. So, Madge asked me if I could so a show talking about my Aneros Prostrate Stimulator, my experiences with it, and reviewing it.

So, consider this a disclaimer. If you don't want to hear about my sex toy and my using it, then move another my next podcast (which I haven't recorded yet). If you are interested, sit back and enjoy!

I didn't cover any of the news, and I was going to talk about a much more serious subject (TBA), but I guess that will have to wait until my next podcast. This podcast is also a little shorter than usual, but that's ok ... the next one might be a little longer than usual.

In four more months, lots of things can change. Hell, many things can change in 4 seconds, but in four more months if any of us are still here lots of things will hapen:
    1) It'll be my birthday and I will 40 years old
    2) It'll be the one year anniversary of my podcast
    3) It'll be the one year anniversary of being at my new job
    4) Massachusetts gets to try once more to vote on whether the gay-marriage ban should be put on the ballot for 2008.

The same courts in Massachusetts that allow gay marriage also dealt us a set-back in allowing the petitions to go through. That means the same-sex marriage ban CAN be voted on for the legislature. The ball is now in their court, and they can vote to put the issue on the ballot in 2008, or not. It would need to with 2 votes from our 2 constitutional conventions,or at least I think that's the way I read it. So, this past Wedneday, they had a chance to vote on it ... but it never came up. So, on both sides of the issue, there are those who are both hapy this was put off for four months, and there are some people who are furious this has happened. Some people on both sides of the issue called it political cowardice.

I've been chatting with my very moderate conservative friends and discussing issues honestly. I am talking about my friend Bob from Bridgewater, MA. Catholic Boy, member of Knights of Columbus, and his wife volunteers for Catholic Charities. Our last discussion ... why should a public charity, that gets private funding, and no public money ... has to let gay couples adopt kids? I think they should!

Other than that, there is always the mundane things going on in my life, like cleaning my place and making room for the new roomie coming. I got most some more to do, but nothing I can't handle.

Oh yeah, I am listening to two new podcasts:
    Krebs Cast
    Karamabanque Radio

    In the news this podcast:
    Gay Rage Concerns In P'Town
    Gay marriage decision delayed
Lawmakers delay vote on gay marriage measure
Hate leaflets don't sway WorldPride resolve
House Prepares To Vote On Federal Anti-Gay Amendment

Wow, this weekend was super-busy, but also super-productive. I got a ton done. I cleaned my house, dusted, laundry, dishes, etc. all the mundane things. I also got some extra things done, like an oil change in my truck and getting rid of old trash to the dump.

As you know I have a roomie moving into my house soon. So, I have to clean out that room so he will have room. As I was cleaning out things I ran across things I hadn't seen in years. What a trip down memory lane. I also found things that belonged to my "ex" and he will get those items back. As I throw things out, and as old meories come back ... I get an awful ache in my stomach. I don't throw too much away that has GREAT sentimental value to me.

Hey folks, I hope every had a great holiday over the Fourth of July. I know I had a great time seeing "Superman Returns" and having one Helluva BBQ meal. I also managed to get some sun and rays before the thunderstorms and clouds came in.

So, now I am back to work, and a little annoyed I lost my bid on that Marantz PMD 660. So, I'm just gonna get it brand new from BSW Audio. In the meantime, I got some more freelance work to do also, then I'll be done paying off this laptop. BTW, I am still using this PC laptop and Audacity to record my podcasts.

So, recently there has been some friction between me and Captain Cox. After I posted my show for July 4th, he left me some comments which you can find here. So, you can see myself and ZillaFag had words with Captain Cox who does the Cox Cast podcast. I responded to Cox by sending a pretty lengthy message to him which he posted to his site here, and you can see his immediate response. Then later he posted a much longer response to my long message, and that can be found here. Lastly, I left him one rather long message, and I think that'll be the end of it. Captain Cox is a gay, conservative, republican fom Dallas, Texas. I am a Massachusetts liberal-democrat ... so we are as opposite as opposites can be. I doubt we have very much in common ... apart that were both gay.

I had some news items to cover, but I think those can wait until my next podcast which should be this weekend in a couple of days.

Happy Birthday to the United States of America, today you're officially 230 years old. As far as nations are concerned, the USA is just out of diapers, and nowhere near as mature as many other nations of the world. And yet, we're like a 2 year old wielding a gun ... the gun being a metaphor for nuclear weapons.

In this podcast, I talk about what's been going on with me and the mundane details of my life ... oooooh, how exciting ... NOT! But, I did see my "ex" and found out he is dating someone else. Don't have any of the details really, and don't want to know. I guess have mixed emotions about him seeing someone else. I guess I am kinda hurt by that, but also, I know any relationship he has probably isn't gonna work ... not unless he's matured in the last 3 years, which he hasn't. Speaking of the "ex" ... this is the third year anniversary of our breakup.

Well, I had a chance to think my "ex" and relationships in general ... I think I kinda know where I stand on the issue. As much as a relationship could happen to me ... being in a relationship terrifies me because I don't want to get hurt again the way I did in my last relationship. After 3 years of "divorce" the happy memories are still with me, and I can't seem to quit him ... if you catch my Brokeback reference. Maybe it's a catch-22, I can't get over him until I meet someone else, and I can't meet someone else until I get over him. Time will tell.

So, anyway, 4th of July has a different meaning to me, and I talk a little about America's history and how our world has changed. I think it's ironic that we celebrate the 4th of July and the start of our Bill of Rights and Constitution ... and for the past few years the Executive branch of the goverment has been taking our rights away, and the Congress has let it happen! Quite frankly, I am terrified ... not by the terrorists, but by a goverment slowly turning into a fascist dictatorship. If God hears my prayers, then we will have a majority democratic Congress.

Happy Fourth of July! Have a great time and stay safe!

This is the third take of this podcast. The first one was constantly interrupted and sounded like crap. The second one was better, but ran like 45 minutes long, and I like to keep my shows to under 30 minutes, so ... third times the charm.

I've been doing great, an finally got a break from the freelance work, though I know more will be forthcoming. I got my online banking situtation worked out now, and I got great news from my doctor. It turns out my blood-work was normal, and my chest x-ray is normal. Now, I am going for my HIV test this week, and hopefully that will be ok also. I will pray in the affirmative that it is ok, but even if it isn't ... that just means I start treatment now, and protect myself and others. It's not a death-sentence anymore, and I'd still be very hopeful for the future.

So, in this episode, I talk briefly about my conversation with an old friend who is in the military in Viriginia. He's an Independant now instead of Republican because the GOP isn't as conservative as he'd thought they should be. Shit! It only took him six years to figure it out, most people it takes much longer. We also discussed the military's view on homosexuals. I am out to my friend, and he's know for years.

In other news, for times sake, I only covered one news story:
Muslims address silence on Europe attacks

Lastly, I discuss a show comment from David, who hostsThat Blue Jeans Guy podcast. And thank Nillo from the Nillo's Night podcast for his past emails and comments.

A big shout-out, hugs and kisses to my friends and family!

It's been a little over a week since my last podcast. I'd look to take this podcast from once a week to at least twice a week like I used to ... maybe three times a week ... if I ever get the frickin' time. Ok, so I have been busy as usual, and it's been mostly this freelance work eating into my time.

So, in this episode I catch you up on what's been going on with me. Helping people move, doing freelance work, working, and picking up after the dogs. The shedding and the dog hair are now at unbearable levels. Not too mention bailing out my basement after this last big Thunderstorm ... What's a girl to do? It also doesn't help that I'm getting laid as much ... that hurts the ol' moral.

Anyway, life could be much worse, and I should be thankful for whatI have ... I'm not dead yet, I just feel like it. So, in more import matters, here is the news:

Happy Gay Pride Season! For those of you into that, I know I am. This past weekend was Gay Pride in Boston, and yes, it was cold, wet, windy, and rainy. The very brave, proud, and stupid came out to view the Gay Pride Parade in Boston. I myself, was in Boston by 10am this past Saturday morning for breaky at a gay bar called Fritz. I guess I started drinking at 11am, with my mimosa's at breakfast. Regardless of the weather, I still had a great time, ran into some old friends, made some new friends, and drank all the while.

I left Boston around 4pm, got home, let the dogs out, and fed them. I was planning on going out to my local gay bar, Randolph Country Club, but I had to get some work done on my freelance project. I was working from 8pm Saturday night to 6am Sunday morning. I did get some rest, and when I got back up, it was finally sunny and dry out ... finally. So, did some yard work and mowed the lawn. That's it for Gay Pride for me ... the weekend came and went so fast. Like all the men in my life. :-)

So, I got some email from David from That Blue Jeans Guy podcast for his comment on my last show about the video game: "Left Behind: Eternal Forces." He showed me a link for the games review which is: here. It is true, shooting civilians does indeed hurt the player by making their "spirit" to go down. However, the game is still not without controversy. For example, there is another article from the Crooks and Liars web-site about this game which is titled Apocalypse, Now a Lawsuit. And even after that, there is a Wikipedia entry at this WikiPedia: Left Behind: Eternal Forces. It does my heart a world of good when right-wing-nuts have their own in-fighting.

So, I guess lastly, I'm experiementing with a new intro filed by a group called Sub-Level-03 and the song is a "Touch Of Pink".
This comes from the Podsafe Music Network

I also recorded this show on my new Dell M60 Laptop with Windows XP. Don't worry you Mac users, I still plan on getting a new iMac 17" system soon enough. Right after I get my Marantz PMD 660. Yes, I know I have expensive tastes.

I record this show almost 24 hours ago and I am just posting it now. I've had an incredible shitty day, and I'm definitely not feeling well ... and tomorrow is Gay Pride in Boston. But, at least I do have a doctors appointment on Tuesday ... I'm not dying, I just feel like it.

The whole Federal Marraiage Amendment was a political ploy from the get go, and everyone knows it. Even the supporters knew it wasn't going to pass, and it didn't. I guess El Presidente Fucko didn't listen to his wife. That's ok, this issue just makes the GOP look really desperate in trying to pander to the right-wing "christians." However, how much more do you think they are going to buy it. They have two new conservative justices on the Surpreme Court. The executive branch has been republicunt for 6 years, and the Congress has been majority GOP for longer than that. The right-wing "christians" probably thought they have Roe v. Wade over turned by now, and the ban on same-sex marriage. Maybe the right-wingers have figured out that the only thing the GOP has done for the past 8 years or so ... is line their own pockets.

Speaking of right-wing-nut "christians", how about the game "Left Behind: Eternal Forces." Ok, so this pastor who wrote those set of "Left Behind" books now has a "christian" video game coming out this October. You get to be in NYC, and you try to convert catholics, muslims, jews, and gays, and other liberals to "christianity." If they don't convert, you get to kill them while the game shouts "Praise the Lord." Oh yeah, that's a game Jesus would love. And aren't catholics christian already????? After all it is the worlds OLDEST Christian religion ... isn't it? After killing non-converters, you can switch sides and work for the forces of the Anti-Christ and kill "christians." What kind of sick, sad, mental retard, could develop this???? Talk about enforcing bigotry and hatred through religion ... and here I thought it was about something else?

Anyway, I rant some more on here, and I'm done ...

This podcast is a "Take 2" considering that I recorded the first one on Tuesday. But that show was sooooooo long, I just said screw it and I re-recorded it on Thursday night. I do try to keep my shows down to 30 minutes if I can.

This show is about my VERY BUSY time that I had down in Provincetown, Massachusetts, and as usual I stayed at The Ranch. I had a great time there, and I got to meet the new Manager, Todd, and the new house-boys, oops, I mean house-staff.

The weather on Friday night wasn't great, but the following Saturday, Sunday, and Monday was awesome, nice, sunny, warm, weather, but not too hot. I ran into an old friend from Boy Scout Camp, and he and I have to get together again in Ptown where he's living now. He say he has a "girlfriend", but we'll see how straight he is when I get him drunk. I made a new friend named Marsell. He's from Brazil, a very smart person, works at the Brass Key in Ptown, and he's also a Feast of Fools listener.

The Ranch also had a great BBQ and free beer for their guests that weekend, and I certainly got my fill. Later on that night I got a chance to interview Miss Richfield, a popular drag performer. This was the highlight of my weekend (sad isn't it), but the interview comes at the end this show.

I got back Sunday, I couldn't stay until Monday. I was doing some freelance work for extra money, and it's been taking up a lot of my time. I haven't even been able to play any World of Warcraft lately, but that will change once this work is done.

I recorded this show late Tuesday night, and I had every intention of publishing this show on Wednesday morning from work. However, life sometimes gets in the way of my podcasting. So, here it is show #55 which I recorded on Tuesday, and just got posted on Friday.

Life has gotten in the way. Work hasn't been so bad, at least not until lately. Earlier this week I was able to get my work done, and leave at my regular time so I can get home let my dogs out, and feed'em. However, last night I was at work for an extra couple of hours ... thankfully, that is the exception and not the rule.

Now, When I get home you'd think I'd be able to sit down, take a load off, or even play World of Warcraft some more. Nope! I took on some freelance work, and that's doing some Microsoft Access Database programming, and I've been working on that in all my free time. So, the gym has had to take a back-seat to that ... for now.

In this show, I didn't cover much news though I know alot is going on. I basically just talk about some of the news items, but not going into anything in depth, there's just too much sometime. But I did want to leave you with some sites to visit: AlterNet
    Move On
    Air America Radio
    DailyKos
    Crooks And Liars
    Mother Jones
    Media Matters
    Information Clearing House

As you know, this weekend is Memorial Day Weekend, and I am going back to my second home down in Ptown and staying at The Ranch once again. I look forward to meeting the new manager Todd. I hope he is cute, the last manager and his boyfriend certainly were. Anyway, I'll be doing a podcast when I come back on Sunday night. Maybe when I am down in Ptown I can get some interviews from some drag-performers?

I recorded this show late last night, and I got to publishing this morning. I also want to apologize for missing my mid-Week podcast. I definitely want to podcast 2-3x per week, but this week, the allergies were just kickin' my ass. So, I just didn't have the energy this week to do a podcast. I'll definitely will do more this week.

As you know in the Northeast U.S., we had a lot of rain, and a lot of places North of Boston, Massachusetts got flooded, and some people had to be evacuated. Fortunately, the south of Boston, where I live, was spared, and we didn't get as much rain, and I was never in any danger whatsoever, so I am fine. Finally mid-week the rain stopped and it's been sunny since then, but still cloudy and cool. This is just a typical Spring in New England.

So apart from the weather, everything has been going good. Started a new project at work, and that shouldn't be as hard as the last project which had a tight deadline. The pets (4 dogs, and 1 cat) are all doing well. Started working on a frelance project for work in Microsoft Access. And finally able to start work around the house now that the weather is nicer.

As for the show, I have been listening to lots of great music from the Podsafe Music Network. I've been trying to find some new music for an Intro and music to play at the end of the show. I've gotten some great ideas from PizzaBabe of the PizzaBabe Goes Global podcast, and from The Quazatoli Connection podcast, both these shows play some awesome music and I love their shows.

In the news, the first two stories were sent to me by Nillo who does the Nillo's Night podcast (another fabulous show).

Yes, Happy Mother's Day! I hope all of you had a fantastic time with your family as much as I did. Belive it or not, I seem to get along well with my family, and everyone in my family knows I am out, loud, and proud ... and no one in my family seems to care! I guess that is a good thing.

Anyway, I must be getting senile early, because I keep forgetting the last time that I podcast. I could have sworn it was later this week, but I guess it wasn't. So, enjoy this latest episode as I go completely off the deep-end into politics.

Unfortunately, I didn't have a lot of time to cover all these topics, but here is a list of items that I touch on ... some briefly:

As Grandma used to say, "it's nice to get away, but it's also nice to come back home." Truer words were never spoken, and I was glad to leave when I did. I mean I had a great time at the Island House in Key West, it's also good that I left when I still liked the place. So, I'll definitely be going back there ... but who knows when.

So, it was a good trip back, and I dug into some more of my book "Angels & Demons" by Dan Brown (the same guy who wrote the "DaVinci Code"). I got home about 9pm last Saturday night (May 6th), and of course, nothing had changed at my house. The dogs were still there waiting for me, they're still pee-ing in my house, and I still had to feed them that night. On the lighter side, once I mopped-up the dog-pee, fed the monsters, and took care of them, then myself and my future roomie Andrew went out to dinner to the Outback Steakhouse.

Now, I'm back to work, and things aren't as hectic as they once were. I even had some free time at work, that I took to updating the Deep Fab web-site. I added the Flickr Map, the ClustrMap, the "Save the Internet" image and link, and the image and link to my Frappr map. So, if anyone feels like checking out my pics of Key West, go ahead. If anyone feels like adding themselves to my Frappr map, that's great also.

Now that I am back at work, I get a chance to listen to Podcasts again. I hate to say it, but I didn't listen to any podcasts while I was away. So, now I have to get caught back up, and I don't think it will take me very long to do. From what I am hearing so far, a lot in the podcast-world has changed. Chaunchey Madge's dog had to be put down. Wanda Wisdom is now a full-time paid podcaster. Ragan Fox is moving to Los Angeles, David that Blue Jeans Guy has a new job, and Twinkleboi and Leo have broken-up. What else have I missed?

So, now that I am home, I am also getting back into what's been in the news. And I guess the news hasn't changed that much either:
Iraqi police kill boy, 14, over gay sex

I recorded this show this morning, or I should say Saturday Morning, after I had just gotten up. I had every intention while still at the Island House to produce and publish my show from there. That way, you'd be able to dload the show while I was on my way home. Unfortunately my headphones had been packed away so I wasn't sure what the sound quality was like, and as it turned out, producing and uploading the show was more time than I had.

In any event, I had a great last day at the Island House in Key West. I sat by the pool and read my book "Angels & Demons" by Dan Brown, the same guy who wrote the "DaVinci Code." I checked out the video-room a few last times, but believe it or not, it was kinda dead. I used the pool quite a bit because it was so hot out, and even though I used SPF#30, I still got a little burnt, but nothing I can't handle.

As I told you on my last podcast, there was an event going on this weekend in Key West called Tropical Heat, which is running from May 4th - May 7th. I didn't go to the opening event on Thursday ... nah, wasn't too interested. But I did get to the events at Kwest and Aqua. These two clubs are right next to each other. For pics of the events so far I recommend visiting the web-site Pistol & Enema and visit their pictures page. The owner of the P&E web-site is a guy by the name of Neil, and he's an awesome guy. Believe it or not, he's originally from Foxboro, Massachusetts and I hope to see him in Ptown for the Fourth of July. Anyway, I had a great time dancing at the Skin-on-Skin dancing at Aqua. I met 5 hot, cute boys, from Hotlanta, Georgia. I wish I had gotten to know all of them better. Anyhoo, I made it back to my room around 1am, and promptly went to bed. I was exhausted from all the dancing ... and yeah, I was a little drunk ... ok, maybe a lot drunk. But I staggered back to my room and didn't drive!

This morning, and I mean Satuday, May 6th, morning, I got up around 8am to use the facilites. I also figured I'd pack a few bathroom things before I went back to sleep. I never did get back to sleep though. I started packing a few things, a few more things, and a few more things. Then I was awake enough to record this podcast. So, I checked out the video-room for one last time and fooled around with one last guy. I took a shower, got dressed, packed some more, and checked-out of the Island House by 11am. I still had 90 minutes to kill before I left for the Key West Airport, so I planned on producing/publishing this show but it didn't happen.

Anyway, that is where I leave it for now. I'll catch you up on the remainder tomorrow. TTFN ...

First, it is brigt, sunny, and shiny in Key West this Thursday morning. I want to apologize for not getting this podcast posted sooner. I've had a thousand issues, the first being technical issues.

It was Tuesday morning, that I woke up and I was burned to Hell. So, I decided to stay out of the sun, get on the Internet, and get out on the town. So I walked down the street to an Internet Cafe, and started producing this show. Boy did I have issues! First, this damn laptop had no available hard-disk space, so I was trying to clear it all off and make space. I didn't realize how much space Audacity needed to move files around. When I am at home on my desktop, I have tons of disk space, so that is not an issue. Then I tried to encode the podcast to an MP3 file, and I didn't have LAME installed. I finally got that installed and half-way through the conversion, my system had a BSOD (blue-screen-of-death). Later that evening I finally got an internet connection at the Island House.

As it turns out, there is an internet connection here at the Island House. However, only ONE antenna works, and that is by the bar/pool ... not a bad thing, but I also wish it had worked in my room!!! Anyway, so here I am in a sarong, not naked but close to it. I am by the bar/pool and having some breakfast as I type this.

I am having a wonderful time still, and I was also fortunate earlier this week to do my first interview. Yes, three lovely drag queens broke my interview cherry, and you'll catch them at the end of this podast. Here are some links that I think you might like in regards to my podast: 801 Bourbon Street
    Bourbon Street Pub
    RV Beaumont Stuff

Again I want to apologize for taking so damn long to post. Yes, I know I am on vacation, but I wanted to let everyone know I was alive and well. I will be recording once more this week, probably tomorrow, and I am sure I will get it posted tomorrow. And, again, thanks for listening and being so patient with me.

So, I survived the trip to Key West and I arrived safely. Albeit, at Miami Airport we had a snafu with our plane. It was an American Eagle plane, and the first one we got on had mechanical problems, so they put us quickly on another plane.

I am not at the Island House and it is everything I thought it would be and more. My room is a little small, but I do have my own bathroom which is great since I will be here for a week.

I went out to the local bars last night and met some wonderful drag-qeens and saw a great drag-show. I'm going to be going back today and interview them. One least of the girls, Samantha, knows what a podcast is, so that's great!

So, the only issue I have is their wireless access. The antenna is right outside my room, so I should get great access. But neither my Mac or my Thinkpad with Windows 2000 is able to connect. They say it only works with Windows XP. If anyone can give me some help on how to get my wireless working here, that would be great. Send me email to deepfabulousity@gmail.com

Lastly, the weather is here, wish you were beautiful. ;-)

First and foremost, I want to apologize to everyone for not posting sooner. I usually try to podcast 2-3x a week, but I have been so overwhelmingly busy at work. We're talking about working at home (telecommuting) and being on-line from about 9pm at night to 7am the next morning. Finally, finally, finally, we're near the end of the project, it's in QA (the quality assurance process), and I can finally start to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

So, I finally record and published, this, episode #49. I had hoped to have episode #49 recorded and published earlier this week so I could do episode #50 about now. However, it's funny because now I will be recording episode #50 from beautiful Key West!

Yes, it's finally fucking here ... I leave this April 29th at 7am from Boston, Logan International Airport, to get to Key West, and I will be staying at the Island House. Yes, Logan, is the same airport the hijackers from 9/11 took-off from. And I am really hoping that I can survive my flight to and from Key West, it does make me a little nervous.

This show doesn't have any listener emails, or comments, and I only touched upon the news. I basically just brought everyone up to date on me, and what's been going on with me ... same usual boring stuff. But at least I am alive and well, and going on vacation.

So, give the show a listen, catch-up on the events of my life, and I'll be podcasting from Key West. You all can vicariously live through me.

In this episode, I reveal how much little sleep I have been getting working on this project at work. Soon it will be over, and then hopefully I'll have a break before the next project starts. In the meantime, I haven't been able to play World of Warcraft much if at all, and I haven't had anytime to get my ass to the gym. Thankfully my vacation will be here soon.

Anyway, my Easter was great, and I spent some time with the family out in the western part of Massachusetts. I hope everyone had a great Easter as well, and if your Jewish, I hope you had a great Passover. And if you're some other religion ... well, then I just hope you had a relaxing weekend.

As you know last Thursday, on April 13th, 2006, I went to the Feast of Fools Meet-N-Greet in New York City. Well, all the pictures are now up and posted on my Flick site. Jason Smith who is also a great photographer took photos and you can find them on this Gallery web-site as well.

In this episode I covered these news stories:
    Court Confirms Gay-Positive Prodi Victory
Gay, lesbian parents to line up for Easter Egg Roll tickets
Mass. inmates can see murder and drugs but not gay love
    Fallwell Web-Site Story
White House changes Easter Egg Roll admit process; LGBT families 'moved from front of the line'
Pope Uses Easter To Attack Gay Families

Hey everyone, boy has it been a very busy long week at work. Lots and lots and lots of hours on a work project that is getting done, but slowly. However, the highlight of the week was a trip out to NYC to meet the podcasters, the Feast Of Fools and their entire gang.

This particular podcast is just my audio diary of my trip out to NYC. It was a four hour trip out, and four hours back, but for the time I was in NYC, I had the greatest fucking time. I got to meet Fausto and Marc, Amanda Steinstein, Victoria LaMarr, Miss Ronnie, John Q. Sanchez, Mike Brazzel, Josh Kilmer-Purcell, Miss Understood, and Amnesia Sparkles. I also got to meet a bunch of other FoF listeners, and it turns out some of them were my listeners as well.

In this podcast, I want to give a shout-out to all the wonderful people I met at the Feast of Fools, Meet-N-Greet in New York City. Everyone was so nice and fabulous! It was an event I will remember and cherish for many years to come.

To all those friends I met in NYC, if you ever come to Boston, drop me a line and I'l show you all the places to avoid ... and the people to avoid also. ;-D

Hey folks, thanks for tuning into this episode of Deep Fabulousity. It has been a very busy week for me ... I have been busier than a bartender at a Kennedy party. Work is gruesomely busy, but I love it because it's interesting work.

I want to give a great big THANK YOU to Jesse and Merri, the hosts of the Shockingly Tasty podcast. They had me, and a few of thier friends over last Friday for a get together. I had a Shockingly Great Time and I didn't manage to scare them or their friends away. I hope to see Jesse and Merri again in the future, and maybe this time Nick and Andy can join us from the Rainbow Pod Squad.

On April 13th, 2006, (tomorrow) I will be going to NYC to the 'Meat and 'Greet' for the Feast Of Fools, and I am looking forward to it. A few towns away, a short distance, there is an Amtrak station, and it's a 4-hour trip for me to Penn Station.

In this episode, I covered a few news articles:
Sex tourism thriving in US Bible Belt
Scalia Rejects Right To 'Homosexual Conduct'
    Top 10 Idiots

There are some new comments, and some new listener email. I have to get a Deep Fabulousity voicemail some day. I gotta figure out how to do that.

Don't be deceived by the title, I am not referring to the war on drugs, the war on cheese, the war in Iraq, or the war in Afghanistan, or the upcoming war in Iran. I mean the war against the right wing!

The right-wing and the GOP are collapsing in on themselves like a black-hole (aptly-named). Jack Abrahmoff in jail for 5 years, Tom Delay resigning from Congress in utter disgrace. The news that Bush and Cheney authorized the leak of Valerie Plame, and finally ... the Bush (and GOP) approval ratings are so low, the democrats might actually be able to win the November elections without them having any kind of plan. Maybe the democrats let the Republicans go ahead with their plans waiting for the American people to get sick of it. If that was a plan ... it was done at our expense.

With the amount of LGBT teens coming out in ever increasing numbers with the help of the Internet. No gay-teen can ever feel like he/she/other is the only one anymore. Unlike the rest of us who didn't have the Net way-back-when. The more people of any age who come out, just means the LGBT community will become normalized in everyday society and the stupid rules of the Neo-cons wil eventually disappear. Anyway that is my hope!

So, this has been a very busy week for me at home and on the job. I didn't make it to the gym this week because I was feeling run-down and not rested. Maybe it was stress, but I'm feeling better now. My trip to Key West is coming closer, and ever closer. Gawd, how I need this vaction soooooo badly.

The other great news is that I am meeting Jesse and Merri from the Shockingly Tasty podcast in Boston tonight.

So, other than that, I covered these fun stories:

I had a great time in Provincetown, MA last weekend. But, I was disappointed that I didn't get to see Jeff and Travis this weekend. Jeff, as you know, is the former manager of The Ranch and Travis is his boyfriend. Well, they were in a major car accident last week, but they are ok. So, they were resting in the another guest house. If you've ever been to the Ranch, or know Jeff and Travis, send them a "Get Well!" card at the Ranch, and you can get the address from The Ranch web-site.

So, other than that, everything else is fine, and I go to Key West in 4 weeks. I'll try to get to the gym as much as I can before I go, but I know that my body-shape won't change too much before then. But, even after I get back from Key West, I'll still go to the gym.

I'm also planning to get to NYC on April 13th for the Feast of Fools, meat and greet. I'm just about ready to order by tickets for the Amtrak train to and from.

So here are some emails I covered on this show:
Red Cross Supports Celibate Gay Blood Donation
    Gay Students Under Attack Nationwide
    Photographer: Herald Got It Right

Unfortunately, there are no comments and no listener emails this show. I guess I have to get on my listeners to get them to write in. ;-)

Hey everyone, I'm still around, and I haven't pod-faded away. I've just been busy with life, but now I am back into the swing of things.

So, there is the dreary boring part where I catch everyone up on the events of my life. YAWN ... I know, but it's my life.

Then there's the fun part! Well, it's no secret that Deep Fab is no longer a part of the Rainnbow Pod Squad Network. But hey life goes on. This isn't an ending, it's a new beginning. It's not like I am going anywhere.

Since I sit on my ass all day behind a computer, I get to listen to podcasts all day while I code away. So, I am going to list some fabulous podcasts that rock my world.

Bad Weeds: San Francisco with your host Corkey Mineola
All Twinked Up with your host Tony from Racine

    LISTENERS,
So...im sure you have noticed a few changes here on the website..... As to not keep any of you in the dark...we feel that it's best that we share with all of you ...what is going on at The Rainbow Podsquad Network....and what is yet to cum! The following is an email which was sent by me to Corkey of "BadWeeds SF", Jenny of "The Pizzababe Goes Global Podcast", Anthony of "The AllTwinked Up Show" & Tom of "Deep Fab"

Sent today Friday March 24, 2005

    Corkey, Jenny, Anthony & Tom:

After numerous conversations between Nick, Andy & I ...we have made the decision that effective today Friday March 24, 2006 we would like to take The Rainbow Podsquad Network in a different and new yet old direction. So...we (Nick, Andy & AJ) feel that we really need to get back to the basics and the core of what we started with back in August of 2005. Which was to have fun, entertain our listeners, make our listeners think in a different way, meet new people & play with our tech toys...in our spare time. Therefore, effective today we will be cutting the RPSN back to the orginal 3 members (AJ, Nick & Andy) and will be recreating RPSN from the ground up. I have not felt very into the whole podcasting thing for a few months now...and this on top of the fact that due to work issues...I just dont have the kinda time on my hands..that it takes to keep this thing going with the current set up. I feel that I'm doing everyone an injustice by not keeping up on things...doing shows....posting...etc.... And I really like each and everyone of you...and don't want to hurt or effect your shows or your personal feelings in any way shape or form......so "I really feel that this is the right thing for me to do at this time".

I want to thank all of you for being helpful, being a friend...and for contributing to and believing in the RPSN and we will promote all of you ...in our future endeavors in the podcasting and vidcasting world.... We (Nick, Andy & AJ) will keep podcasting, vidcasting...blogging and whatever else comes along...we are not going away...we are just going to be doing what we have time for...what feels right...what is fun for us ...and most importantly ...our listeners!

Please take down all Rainbow Podsquad Materials from your websites ASAP including (banners, iTunes subscribe buttons, RSS Feed buttons, show banners etc...ps: feel free to use your own show banners that was created by Ms. Hipps or Tigger esp for the RPSN folks...and if you would like to promote one of us..feel free..we will be promoting you....we just don't want to confuse the listeners anymore than they will already be !)

Again, I want to thank all of you for being a part of my little dream...and I wish all of you the best of luck in the future ....I will be in contact.....and hopefully back in the podcasting chair very soon.

    Thanks...
    Love Y'all
    -AJ-
    -Nick & Andy-

LISTENERS: WE LOVE ALL OF YOU...AND ENJOY DOING GREAT SHOWS FOR YOU AND INVOLVING YOU!
WE (AJ, NICK & ANDY) WILL KEEP RIGHT ON DOING JUST THAT ....

LOOK FOR SOME "BIG" CHANGES CUMMIN VERY SOON !!!!!!!!

Well, this is my second show for this week, and I hope the next one will be done for Sunday. In this episode, as usual, I catch you up on what's been going on with me, and I talk about some listener emails and comments that I received in regards to my last two shows.

First I got a comment on the RPSN web-site about my last show. It was from Mass Bay Bears who stayed at the Ranch with me this last St. Patty's Day weekend. We all had a good time though I am not into Bears, and they are not into me.

I also got an email from Nillo who has his own podcast Nillo's Night. Nillo wrote to share this story with me: Afghan Christian Could Get Death Sentence

    But it also gets better:
Afghanistan seeks solution on convert amid Western uproar

    Before it gets worse:
Afghan Clerics Demand Convert Be Killed

When it comes to fanatacism, I thought this story was also very interesting:
    Robertson Finds Radical Muslims 'Satanic'

Lastly, I got a comment on the Deep Fab web-site from David who has his queercast:
That Blue Jeans Guy and I just touched on a few of the points in his comments about the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) and on being a slut.

So, all in all, I want to thank everyone who has commented and emailed me. Show #39 had the most listens of all my shows, and I hope I can consistently deliver a better show.

Sorry for the late Podcast, I was sort of out of it this weekend after an exhausting weekend down in Provincetown, Massachusetts (otherwise knows as Ptown), and I was staying at The Ranch. I recorded a show late Sunday night, but it was too rushed, and had too much in it, and I hate to do that. So, this is actually "Take 2" of Episode 40.

So, I am still alive, doing well, and I catch you up on what happened down at the Cape (Cape Cod for you non-New Englanders) this past weekend. It was a very Beary weekend in Ptown, and that's cool. I'm just not a bear myself, nor am I into them. Most Bears aren't into me either, which is perfectly fine. I just expected to get some rest this weekend, and I really didn't. But that's ok, Life goes on.

The bad part of this weekend (apart from not getting any rest) was missing an important, one in a life-time event, for a very dear friend of mine. I am still racked with guilt about it. The other thing is that the current managers of the Ranch will be moving on. The current managers Jeff and Travis, brought a magic and atmosphere that had guests constantly coming back. If the new management doesn't bring that, then what will become of my favorite guest-house. I had become friends with these guys over the past year, and I will miss them dearly when they go back to NYC. But, hey ... I guess Life goes on, and I wish Jeff and Travis the very best!!!!!

Anyway, I think my next show is gonna be great! I got some listener email from dave who does the podcast That Blue Jeans Guy. I've started listening to his podcast and it's great so far. I also got listener email from Nillo who does the podcast Nillo's Knight, but I am still catching up on all his shows.

There's a couple of great news items I got, and I can't wait to go over them on my next show.

I do listen to a lot of podcasts, and right now, and I'll be listing them on my web-site soon.

So, in this episode, I don't cover any news, no listener emails, and no listener comments. But, I do catch you all up on what's going on with me for the last few days ... not much really. I have a pretty much mundane life, and I kinda like it like that

Going forward, I am going back to Provincetown, MA this weekend for St. Patty's Day weekend, and I am so looking forward to it. I hope the weather is good this weekend. Obviously, I want to get drunk on both Friday and Saturday night, but we'll see. Maybe I'll get an interview this weekend. I'll keep trying.

So, I didn't talk to much about my trip into Boston last Friday to the gay bar called Machine. I was supposed to meet the guys from the Shockingly Tasty podcast, but they couldn't make it. Anyway, I had still had a good time. But something awoke inside me.

As I walked around, drinking my beer, I saw a lot of younger couples, and older couples. Maybe these guys were boyfriends, or just guys hooking-up. But it was the way they looked at each other that really struck me. I wanted (want) someone to look at me that way again.

But am I ready for another relationship? Is that what I really want? Do I really want to go through this process of finding a boyfriend again, opening myself up to someone, and lowering walls? Maybe I should stop slutting around, and may start looking for an LTR again? Time will tell, and then I will tell you. :-D

In this week, I catch you up on my goings on and such. It was a VERY busy week, and I spent a lot of nights staying up late, unfortunately it was nothing of a sexual nature.

As you know I've started back in the gym, and it's getting very close to my vaction when I take my first week-long vacation in 9 years, and I am going to Key West for that time.

I also went out this week to a bar I had never been to before in Boston, although it has been around for a long time. It's called "Machine", and I was supposed to meet some of the guys from Shockingly Tasty, but unfortunately they couldn't make it. Well, I had a good time anyway, and I will eventually meet those podcasters.

In the immediate future, I'm going back down to Provincetown, MA for St.Patty's Day weekend, and staying at The Ranch. I look forward to bringing you my next mobil podcast from there.

Once again the bigs news for me is that I am learning the MacOSX because I got my new PowerBook. But now I also got iLife 06, GarageBand 3, and Podcast Studio. There's a learning curve in learning new applications, so in the meantime I'll keep using Audacity on my PC/Windows machine.

My friend Andrew, who is a graphic artist, helped me create some new Album Art and Banners for my podcast. We'll be doing more of that in the future. And this weekend will be a good time for me to start making my web-site look more like the Rainbow Pod Squad web-site.

Does anyone have a TiVo? Did your TiVo get updated lately? Well, mine did, and I got some new features including the ability to download and listen to podcasts through your TiVo, Besides being able to choose which podcats they have pre-selected, you can also enter your own RSS URL. So, I did that with my own RSS URL and there it was, all my episodes were listed like on iTunes, and I was able to listen to my podcasts. How soon do you think it will be before they do vidcasts as well? So, I was thinking .... how will this affect someone stats? How do we know how many peole are listening through the TiVo? Does anyone care about that? I am sure some do.

I have a new (my only) correspondent, a listener, Tom from Tennesse. He sent me a couple of great news stories which I'll be covering in episode #37 of Deep Fab.

Lastly, in the news I rant for a good while about one story which really got me upset:

The show is a little longer than usual, and so I won't blame you if you can't listen to all of it. I am sure I'll probably generate some controversery with my opinions of Islam and Christianity, but it's probably nothing you haven't heard before.

As a result, my web-site will contain pointers to: http://www.rainbowpodsquad.com and they are now pointing to my site also. I record my first episode of Podcastique with Nick. As you might, or might not know, Nick used to do Podcastique with Donna and Andy. Andy now does "Bay State Radio" with his friend Mike. Donna is/was a High School Senior and has to focus on getting ready for college. From the previous Podcastique or Deep Fab episodes you know that I've gone out and met the Podcastique crew on a couple of occasions. Nick and I discussed doing Podcastique together, and I am sincerely honored and flattered to be able to join up with the Rainbow Pod Squad! My new show which will be record and posted tomorrow from now on will reflect that "Deep Fab" is now a member of the RPS group. Again, I am flattered and honored to be welcomed into this family of podcasters. I am truly confident that 2006 will be a good year for Podcasters and Queercasters! Thanks to AJ, Nick, Mike, Andy, and Miss Veva La Whore for inviting me into your family! Sincerely, Tom Holmes Jr.

As I think about the Holidays, I remembered that you should NEVER give a pet as a gift for a shitload of reasons: allergies, responsibility, financial obligations, time, don't know about the breed, etc. However, if you're a family and the parents do want to get a pet ... wait until AFTER the holidays. Many pets given as gifts will end up in animal shelters because people aren't prepared to take care of a pet. So, if you do want a pet, go to an animal shelter after the holidays and recscue a pet or two. I thought the Patriot Act was dead, but it looks like it got extended "as is" for another 6 months. And it looks like the U.S. Goverment is spying on it's own citizens and marking leftie groups as terrorist organizations ... but right-wing organizations seem to NOT make the list.
